I know why human beings die, but why animals die?

Did they commit anything wrong according to the laws of God, so they have to die?

They die for the same reason that humans die: disease, predation, old age, or accident.

Bible study does not offer much of any other rationalization on the subject.

Did you ever wonder if they would have eternal life in the "new system paradise earth"?

If not, it hardly seems fair, does it? If so, then they sure got it for nothing (at least no meetings and field service)!

I did a wee thread on this. Always concerned me when I was in the truth.

The doctrine that the "wages of sin is death" fails upon close examination, doesn't it?

Did god create life such as viruses and bacteria which would only make us sick. If we as humans get sick abdicate die supposedly because were sinfull then why do animals get sick and develop diseases such as cancer? NONE of it makes sense! What about the bloodsucking mosquito?! Why would Jehovah who views blood as sacred and as the soul being in the blood create such a sinful creature?

Come on now, biggestlie, we all know from the watchtower that the blood-sucking mosquito only sucked plant nectar prior to the flood.

Same goes for the gut-munching lamprey eel.

BTW - did anybody notice that this is a 1 of 1 post from a new person?

Welcome to the board, and you did a good thread question.

Dogs die because back in the Dogpound of Eden, Rover was tempted to eat a forbidden kibble by his bitch. Therefore he was only able to pass on imperfection to his pups. Makes perfect sense to me.
