Well I went through the same thing myself at age 27, I finally realized that my whole life had been manipulated by a lie, it hit me like a ton of bricks, I still havent got over it to this day.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------My Stepgrandpa died last year at age 90, he was born and raised a bible student under Russell, he fully gave of his younger years in service to the WT, and never had kids because he was waiting on the "New System", the thing is, some people will always be willing to believe in a lie, he has witnessed numerous date changes over the years, and they all failed (1919, 1925,1929,1975). So with that said, in the year 2018 there may still be JW's who are waiting on Armageddon. The WT Society is very slick, they have churned out lots of "New Light" over the years, and will continue to. Unless that 75 year old person will wake up and see the lies for what they are, then they will still be waiting on Armageddon.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After the WT Society revised the "Generation of 1914" doctrine in 1995, then it all became a moot point, this cult can keep on lying and lying and prolonging their Armageddon doctrine, and there will always be willing buyers (except for the children)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I dont think theres anything under the sun that I have more contempt for than the WT Society, they break up families,they destroy lives, they rob children of their dignity, and they will continue to do so until God or the government steps in.
