The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. When you hate something that you once loved, it still has the capacity to provoke a reaction from you. When you no longer care, it is a sign that you have disengaged physically, mentally and emotionallyNow I know where I am in the process. However, when someone I've known for years ignores (shuns) me, my anger meter takes a huge jump. Other wise indifference sounds just fine. Bug
Do you sense the need to defeat or destroy the Watchtower lessening? I do.

I've spent enough time doing things for this organization. I will NOT waste anymore time and energy on them!!!!!!! Life is suppose to be about 'freedom' not 'slavery.'

For me, on a personal level, I'm satisfied that the WTS was defeated in 1995 when they published what amounted to a retraction of the 1914 doctrine.

It's just a shabby little cult.
A devisive, twisted cult it's true, but let's just be thankful that we got away with most of our marbles intact, OK?
It could be worse I suppose - imagine being raised in the ignorance and repression of fundementalist Islam, for instance......

I never had the sense to go after them or anyone in the congregations, I like Jesus words at at Matt 15:14 14 so ignore them. They are blind guides leading the blind, and if one blind person guides another, they will both fall into a ditch.”

Could someone explain exactly how the '1995 generation' change amounted to a 'retraction' of the 1914 doctrine?
I'd say the 1995 change is better seen as a big nail in the coffin of their 1914 chronology rather than any kind of 'retraction' per se.
The 1995 change evidently caused many to wonder about the truthfulness of the 1914 teaching, but evidently those at the WTS, including the GB, nearly all still believe it hook, line, and sinker.
