I feel bad for her, her daughter, etc. But, dammit, can we please get some other news?

I know I would be sick of it if I kept my TV turned on.

I guess the reason this story continues is because her life was stranger than fiction. She is the tragic figure of Marlynn Munroe in the 21st century. I can relate to this story cause I had a whacky girlfreind like her and every bone in my body tells me she will pass tragically and young. You can probably expect your kids kids to be hearing about it 50 years from now. She has become a cultural icon that rich and poor can relate to.

    YES!!

At my work, there is a waiting lobby with a TV. After 5PM, it's always tuned to CNN. Nancy Grace's "Fluff Hour" has hit a jackpot with Anna Nicole's son's death, the paternity battle, and finally her death. If the story is nothing but sensational, and completely lacking in any relevance to real life, Nancy Grace will be all over it like a WTS lawyer over a dying child.

I don't hardly watch TV. I do work where magazines and tabloids are sold. Everyone of them has Anna Nicole or Rachel Ray on them. And about half the products I scan have Rachel's picture on them.

Anna Nicole's son looks like my son. My son has his own tragic story. For this reason, it hurts to constantly see their faces. I can't imagine how anyone could be so cold hearted to kill her son and then kill her. It kinda looks like this may be the case. The poor kid, he dies while sitting in his beloved mother's hospital room after the birth of his sister. It's just sad.

Hey, at least I got a good idea for my weight-loss goals: SlimFast and Methadone.

    .

It is so terribly sad. I saw her mother and just cringed.

When Marilyn Monroe died I was very young but I recall my parents talking about it.It has gotten more romantic as time has gone by and we learned things about her life that the ordinary person had no way of knowing back then. Still there is much mystery about her life. She was rather regarded as a Hollywood tramp down here in the south. Now poor Anna comes along, has same sad life, only we have the means of uncovering every sordid thing she has ever done right now. She is, I agree with Tyrone, the 21 century Marilyn Monroe and the does not look so romantic now: we can now peer into every aspect of her life. There is so much about Marilyn Monroe that is still mystery. That is her major appeal.
