Thanks, Qcmbr! There seems to be quite an overall difference between the income of the WTBTS and the Mormons, at least in the UK.

It would appear, that though the WTBTS is still getting a pretty good income in, it is nothing compared to what the Mormons receive from their members.

What was interesting about reading the accounts for the Latter Day Saints, is that they provide proper incomes from their employees and also provide a retirement pensions!

    Choke on that WTBTS!!

(I would like to point out here that I am NOT a Mormon and Never will be a Mormon and am giving an unbiased opinion in total shock at the difference in the way the two 'cults'/religions are run for their members!)

You might find it interesting to run a search on the 'International Bible Students Association' on the same Charity Commission site as given on page one of this topic.

Why it the UK version of the WTBTS running short of money?

For Sept '04 to Augh 05 their accounts was in summary:

    Total Income was £12 925 000 and total Expenditure was £13 006 000.

Not a huge difference but still a shortfall.
