Welcome to the forum, glad to see that you have built up enough determination to leave the cult, every year they lose tens of thousands of disappointed members like you, people voting with their feet. Of course they got their predictions wrong in the armageddon area here they have a 100% failure rate and indeed any religious idea that is original to them eventually gets discarded even by them. And they have failed to reach most of the world with their preaching the Moslem countries, and India with China which together contain a good one third of the world's population 2.4 billion out of 6.6 billion. As for the ark I also believe it was a local rather than a global phenomenon inundating only the inhabited part of the world around the middle east and not far away places like Australia and the Americas.

I really recommend reading Steven Hassan's book Releasing the Bonds. It is important to realise that the doctrine of the JWs is plain wrong, and that cults put phobias into followers in order to manipulate them.You need to identify what the WTS has made you fear and clear it.

&

Only we will be saved.

Like you mentioned, both are crazy concepts. Over 3 billion people have never seen a JW, would a loving God really kill them all, and if so would you want to worship such a God?

I hope jwd helps to answer your questions and give you a start on the journey to resolving the issues that come with growing up as a dub for you. I know it has definitely helped me in my healing process immeasurably on exiting the cult.

Definitely read Crisis of Conscience or CoC as it is referred to on here. As young as you are, I feel sure you are completely clueless as to what went on in the 70's with the Governing Body as was I. It is a really good read and very enlightening.
