Hi ona. They are us. We are incarnated spirits. We have forgotten, just like we forgot being born. Just kidding.

the damned flying fuskers hide my keys all the time.
About as much as God has done for us.
To borrow one Lubitsch line, maybe to womankind their record is not so bleak...
Narkissos:
maybe to wo mankind their record is not so bleak...
Which, of course, evokes the Biblical record of the very first "independent" interaction of angels with mankind...that they materialized in male form (incubi) and impregnated women, producing offspring that were vicious and destructive. Quite a start.
According to the Book of Enoch, they gave us weapons of war... and makeup.
Following on daystar, also sorcery/medicine and astro-nomy/logy...
Moreover Azazyel taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered. Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways. Amazarak taught all the sorcerers, and dividers of roots: Armers taught the solution of sorcery; Barkayal taught the observers of the stars, Akibeel taught signs; Tamiel taught astronomy; And Asaradel taught the motion of the moon. (1 Enoch 8)
Biblically not all angels are of the same kind the demons or fallen angels have their own agenda to promote and are at war with the Holy angels who antagonise them while promoting God's agenda for mankind. They restrain demonic wickedness so that the earth doesn't become an unbearable place to live on and keeps a semblance of order and decency.

Invisible beings defend us against other invisible beings? Beings whom we've never met, and who haven't said a word for at least 2,000 years (Biblically speaking)?
Now, how would that come across if you were talking, on the street, cold-turkey, with someone you'd never met?
I would much prefer that these invisible beings, who would seemingly have access to information that we do not, simply let us know a couple of simple things, like "what happens when we die," or "what are the winning lottery numbers." Not more of like with Abraham, along the lines of "It was nice having lunch with you...have a nice day."
