Will I go to hell?

So... Mouse's friend here, thought I'd clear some things up.
This whole debate was started with this quote:
"You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he will judge you on your merits and not just on whether or not you believed in him." - His philosophy that he posted on his space.
Now, this got us talking about whether he'd go to Heaven or not, I said no (see verses in first post), and he assumed that the result was him going to Hell. No mention of whether Hell existed or not. So this should me more of a debate if he's going to Heaven on just his merits instead of going to Hell on something that he doesn't believe. -

My question to you is: Can I burn an angel?... if I cant, because the angel is a spirit, and the spirit is a soul, how can a soul burn in hell

needproof, actually "burn" in Bible not allways means "oxidation"

In the context of going to hell, what does it mean

That person sounds very much like the JWs with their judgemental attitude, eternal death is bad enough but burning in hell for ever that is really ferocious. Basically in the future everyone will get a second opportunity after a resurrection for eternal life and before that no one can judge. The current life circumstances are difficult (ignorance, pressures, outright coercion) for most people.

This freind of mine is looking for more than just your word on it.
He's really picky (it's news to me!) about this, and wants proof from the bible or something. Logic doesnt cut it for him, lol.
I've never had a freind so determined to proove I'm going to hell!
I think the entire situation is hilarious, but thats just me. Here is a list of bible contradictions you can throw at him. To knock down his house of cards. If the bible is not reliable how can you use it to determine what happens after you die. The phone book could do just as well. Not that I would recommend living your life by the phone book. http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/jim_meritt/bible-contradictions.html -

Only God knows if a person will go to Heaven or not - nobody else can make that call - not even with Bible verses to back their argument.
The nearest assumption you might be able to make, LastElf, is that because, at this moment Anony-mouse isn't a believer, there is a very real chance that they might not go to Heaven.
But you don't know what will happen in the future - a deathbed conversion a split second before death maybe? That's all it takes.

You'll find out, if and when you get there, so will your "friend".
This is another pointless semantic question.
Google "Hell Grave", Hell Sheol Tartarus Hades", etc. Believe what you will and let your "friend" believe what he/she chooses. There is no proofbefore death for any of us..
