Give Examples of How JWs Try To "Demonize" Everything

Here's an example......Years ago if a JW wanted a heart transplant or a transplant of any kind, it was considered "cannibalism". To "prove" that this was oh so wrong, they provided an article about a person who did get a new heart donated to them and suddenly they got the old personality of the donor. The transplant changed everything about this man and he was no longer the same normal person.......and why?? Because, as a cannibal, he partook of another's organs and became a totally different person.

How the Slave knows more than mere doctors or mortal man!

Another fine example: Husbands and wives that wish to express their love for one another in ways not puritancal may inadvertently be performing homosexual acts on one another. HUH?!

As I type it, I can't believe that they come up with this stuff.

BTW MINIMUS, awesome thread as usual.

    Thanks,

I was counselled for biting my fingernails because "it's demonic to be enslaved to any habit."

When I was a kid, my mom came down with a maladay that could no doctor could diagnose. It plagued her for years. Some WT article or some elder's "advice" made her go through our entire house throwing out anything that might be demonized therefore causing this unexplained malady. She threw out some wonderful old books and even a charm bracelet that my piano teacher had given me!!!. From that day forward the only books in our home were the JW literature or Reader's Digest! Her malady remained until finally one very astute doctor discovered the cause of it and cured her. BTW, have any of you really ever experienced a demon attack?

Yes, every time the elders counselled me. I'm sure they would have stopped coming near me had I held up a crucifix and sprinkled them with holy water.

I'll never forget the CO who, in delivering a talk carefully prepared barrage of manipulation to an audience at a District Convention, spoke in the most sneering way about 'Christendom and all her good deeds'.

The counsel is to not stay away from the meetings. They are there as a "protection" for us! ---------How sad when in one African village a couple decided to stay home from the meeting and political insurgents happened upon their house. When the couple protested that they were neutral Jehovah's Witnesses, the men said, "no you're not or else you would be at their meetings" and then killed them.--------See. Staying home from the meetings can kill you.

Satan and his demunz are controlling the media to try and persecute Jehovah's faithful followers. They do this by telling half-truths and outright lies about God's people.

Satan and his demunz planted fossils in the ground to make it appear that humans and dinasaurs are much older than what the bible says we are.

Satan is behind all yard sales and is just waiting for you to buy a blue smurf so he can infiltrate your mind and hopefully, the Kingdumb Hall.

    The list is endless

Demonic influence is rampant, and what better way is there to dupe people, especially the up-and-coming generation, than through music?........ In view of what Paul said to the Ephesian Christians about wicked spirit forces, would it be reasonable for a modern-day Christian to have records in his personal collection that exalt demonism and spiritism? If he knows that some groups are deeply involved in occult studies and practices, would it be safe to assume that none of that influence would creep through into the lyrics, the beat or even the record-album cover?
