Has anyone prepared for further attacks here?

    Just wondering.

I find myself having little mini panic attacks about all this. Now that I have a little one to be responsible for, I am a little nervous.

I am strongly fighting the urge to have my car loaded up with a weeks worth of supplies for us (ie food, gear, clothes, diapers, water) so if something happens BIG here - I can head out to Canada.

Warning (haha) be ready my Canadian friends - my daughter and I may be joining you.

Anyone else feeling these "survivalist" feelings?????

Heard them just talking about that possiblity on the radio...they figure since the first attacks were planned so far in advance they don't really have to worry about any "suprise" attacks...course not sure I want to rely on the reasoning of people who missed out on the danger signs for the first attacks though....

I just heard on ABCNEWS.com that we should anticipate more attacks here. That bin Laden knew we would strike back & has more plans of attack that have been arranged for a long time.

    Naeblis - shit. which cities?

I was chatting with some women in a nail salon this week, and one had heard an interview with a terrorist in custody, somewhere. (she said, but I can't remember) Anyway, he said the next attack will be two months from the first one, after everyone is "back to normal" and not expecting anything. She also said that the interviewer said the U.S. would attack Afghanistan sometime this weekend. Hmmmm.

I just watch what the guys are doing at the corner store. They seem to be pretty cool. They keep asking me if I want to buy bootlegged cd's when I go in there though. Shit, a brutha just want some chips, a drink and a newspaper. Like I don't know how to download music.

I've tried to kiss my ass goodbye, but hopefully no attacks will be forthcoming until I have a few more weeks of yoga under my belt. At this point, I'm just not limber enough!

One of the primary objectives of terrorists is to disrupt the lives of those they consider their enemies. When they see people taking emergency measures, such as stockpiling or relocating, it shows them their tactics are working. A small victory like that gives them encouragement and boosts their morale.

Don't give them that victory. Don't let these bastards have any satisfaction. That's something we all can do.
