That was a beautiful description of Easter or Ashtar ....Festival of Spring!
I think we dont pay enough attention and respect to the seasons anymore. It truly is a MIRACLE!!! True, we understand it better than ever, but we cannot create it!
To see the dead stark trees start to bud little greeny leaves! To see the rose bush form a pregnant full bud that will become a fragrant red rose! To witness a mother creature of any kind lead her newly hatched or birthed brood to safety is a precious awesome sight!
The earth is the most unique place in the universe, so full and alive and happy! You can receive so much spiritual and emotional benefit by meditating on its goodness and fullness and riches.

This Sunday, Easter, we should all reflect on nature and do something to show it our deep appreciation.
And if you give credit to a god, then do so, for spring has surely been given to man to make his heart rejoice!

I will be cooking brunch for my kids & elderly parents. My kids have outgrown the egg hunt, but I still make goodie baskets for everyone.

You know Loves2Bworldly, you made me think how much fun it would be to make baskets for my husband and MIL!!! I think I will go out Friday and do just that. Maybe one for my neighbor who could use a lift too!!!

Don't dis the Peeps! (Actually I agree they taste gross. I just have a really fond childhood memory of them and eating them reminds me. Sappy.)

Yes you could put gifts in the baskets. One year I put healthy snacks with a few chocolates for a person that was trying to eat better. Dehydrated apples, pretzels, etc.

Here's a question--why is there not Easter music? There is a ton of Christmas music, why not Easter? We should make an Easter albumn. In honor of Crumpet's sex festival, we could include "Sexual Healing" and "Let's Get it On". I never thought there could be a way to improve upon fresh spring flowers + chocolates, but we could take Easter to a whole new level with this idea.
