I printed out a list of questions/problems I have with the WTS, and keep it handy.

Last time I had a JW (I finally started getting visits again after 6 years of none), I told her that I've got lots of questions and red flags, but no JW has ever been able to help me out or come back to answer them. She gave me a surprised look. I told her I had a list of questions ready, and if she'd be willing to exchange I'd take her WT. She agreed.

Never saw her again. But it's a simple idea--you don't have to prolong contact, and you can have the information really handy. Maybe a good idea for some who don't want to interact much or, in my case, who don't have the time available (yet don't want to waste an opportunity).

If you find a butterfly cocoon and you try, with the best of intention, to help the little lady out of her cocoon by prying it open, she will be unable to fly. Her lone struggle against the cocoon to free herself strengthens her so that when she has done so, her wings will spread to their full breadth and she will then be as free as destiny has intended her to be.

That's a perfect and beautiful analogy. A few words, perhaps. I do this with my brother but only when he prods. Like a contraction or braxton hicks for the soul. But only the individual can individuate.

I have come to believe that some souls are just not quite ready to live outside of the confines of self-imposed bondage. But when they are ready, there is no doubt, no going back.

Many have tried but as soon as you disagree or say You don't see what they do in a scripture they don't come back any more. Or if you show them scriptures that oppose what they say they drop you like a hot potato.

Bebu; idea is great, and i used to do just that. hand them that list of 101 questions for jw's. and invite them to come back and answer all of these. of course they never wanted to talk to me about my 101 questions. allways claiming i got them from the internet. but i always answered.it's not were the questions came from . it's the fact that you can't answer them. fallacies in arguementation 5/22/90 ga pg 12-14 now back to the questions. let's just address the questions. and stop the false finger pointing. you claim to be a minister of god. here are my questions. answer them or your not all you claim to be cut the crap. now get to the questions

I wouldn't bother normally, but due to certain circumstances I'm doing just what you are saying. Keeps you sharp if nothing else.

While this may be a good idea, I simply do not have the time to do this. Full-time work, two classes a week, a Bible study, and assorted church ministry. I barely have time to watch Lost, and an occasional sporting event.

The cult book "You can live forever in paradice on earth" really emphasizes to take in accurate knowledge but sadly the Jws don't know what accurate knowledge is because they teach nothing but false doctrine and lies!!

I've done it twice...both times the study lasted several months before they gave up on me. (some things I wont' do...like highlight, or go the meeting) When I mentioned to the second BS sister about the first sister, and said...she must have moved away, she said, no she still lives in the area, but she doesn't come to the meetings any more, but doesn't know why.
