I wanted to thank all of you who sent prayers and warm thoughts and healing vibes in the direction of my sister in law in California who found out in November that she had pancreatic cancer at age 44. She managed to get five more months before she could fight no more. My father called yesterday to tell me that despite everyone's best efforts, that she has only a couple days at most to live and that her organs are shutting down. They are trying to keep her as comfortable as possible and she is surrounded by her family and has a strong faith as a Mormon that this isnt the end for her. It terrifies me that this came out of the blue for her and could just as easily happen to any of us you know?
I will be flying out there with my sister and mother on Monday and staying the week...and we dont really know what to do when we get there except BE there for my brother and his four young kids. No arrangements have been made strangely...she didnt want to talk about it I guess.
Anyway...my heartfelt thanks again for the love you sent her way. But thats what this board does...hands out the love where it's needed the most.
love, Loves
