Sad news indeed, my heart goes out to the victim's families of this murderer.

How sad.

It is time to change the laws and take control of guns. 10,000+ people are murdered with guns in the USA each year.

I was waiting for someone to make such a comment.

A looney murderer will always find a way to "get the job done".

Take the guns away, there's still bombs, arrows, spears, knives, vehicles, etc, etc, etc- "take control" how, exactly?

Thank the founding fathers for the second ammendment.

Every citizen should have at least one firearm, imo.

For self defense, and if necessary, for defense from abuses of the Government.

Why was the college still holding classes 2 hours after the shooting began and the shooter had not been identified?

Apparently the college didn't take this seriously! Another source reported that bomb threats had been called in the last 2 weeks on this particular dorm where the shooting occured. The entire school should have been on complete lockdown until this guy was caught. What were they thinking????? I just don't think Americans are taing enough precautions.

BA...I'm beginning to think that we may have to change the law! I would rather do without guns than for these horrible tragedy's to keep happening. If the guy would have only had a knife there wouldn't be as many dead or possibly wounded. (Maybe an age limit of 30 to own a gun?)

That's a start, but the same has happened in Canada (twice that I know of), where we have a lot more control on guns. I honestly more of a cultural problem then a problem specifically with guns. What that problem is, I'm not sure but someone has to find it and fix it.

The only change I would make to the law is as follows:

- Immediate Capital Punishment for all proven murderers, for all states.

I would rather do without guns than for these horrible tragedy's to keep happening. If the guy would have only had a knife there wouldn't be as many dead or possibly wounded. (Maybe an age limit of 30 to own a gun?)

That would only benefit criminals, not law abiding citizens. A murderer using a bomb or a vehicle could take out far more than this. Bombs are illegal, and yet they are still used by criminals- get the point? Vehicles are legal, and yet there have been numerous cases of crowds being run into and murdered. What next, outlaw vehicles?

Instead, think about this- what if some or all of those students were armed? The murderer would have been shot in self-defense way before so many lost their lives needlessly.
