I work at a hospitol and the staff and patients are glued to the TV.

I honestly more of a cultural problem then a problem specifically with guns. What that problem is, I'm not sure but someone has to find it and fix it.
I believe that's what the majority of experts believe - it's a cultural/environmental thing. What a shame this has happened. sammieswife.

I live about 1 hour from there and have 2 coworkers and 3 friends that have kids there, so far only 1 person knows that their child is ok.
My son didn't accept VA Tech instead he went to VA State - right about now I'm thanking whomever because that's were I wanted him to go!!!
Last report was 22 dead and 20+ injured!!

I dont know what it would cost but every campus needs to have security like at airports, government buildings.
We just cannot lose anymore children.
And we are so worried about terrorists. We need to take care of what we ourselves are doing to each other right here in the US.

— Tacoma, Wash. Jan. 3, 2007. An 18-year-old male high school student was arrested for shooting and killing a 17-year-old male student at their school. The suspect allegedly shot the victim in the face and then stood over him, firing twice more.
— Springfield Township, Pa. Dec. 12, 2006. A 16-year-old male high school shot and killed himself with an AK-47 assault rifle in the hallway of his high school. — West Paducah, Ky. Dec. 1, 1997. Three students were killed and five wounded at a high school. Michael Carneal, then 14, later pleaded guilty but mentally ill to murder and is serving life in prison.
