All of your questions about how to be a good and faithful servant of the Watchtower Society can be answered here.

I would suggest that you make up a new Living Will and designate the Watchtower Society as the sole beneficiary.

I also suggest that you donate at least 75% of your monthly pension to promote Kingdom interests. You can write a check made out to "Jehovah's Witnesses" and drop it in the big square box near the entrance to your local Kingdom hall.

I also suggest that you put in at least 120 hours a month as a publisher of the Good News.

BTW, it may be a good idea to review exactly what the Good News is at 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

You may also want to review how God feels about people who preach a different Good News than that found at 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

This can be found at Galatians 1:6-9.

Keep on with the preaching of the Good News of the Watchtower Society and you will reap exactly what you deserve.

Follow your conscience, be the slave of no man. Give up your pension if you feel it will make the true God happy. Keep it if you think it won't bother him. Either way it's all in your head, so you might as well keep what you've earned. The end is near after all, only a few more years till 1975, er, um, I mean 2034 or whatever it is these days.

Use your head man. I'll never forget the time when I was an elder that a brother came to me with tears in his eyes because he lied to his employer when asked if his break was over and he said, "No I have 5 more minutes" when his break was already over by ten. "Do you think Jehovah will forgive me?" he asked.

Honestly, use your head.

Plus I have personally known many JWs who were in the military pre-JW who collected a pensionnn and doctored at a VA hospital.

I started studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses in Fall of 1987. The man I studied with was an elder and retired military. He and his wife lived a comfortable life on his military pension. The funny thing is that when I was studying, they continually warned me that I needed to get out of the military as soon as I could or God would be mad at me. So, on the advice of someone who finished out their thirty years in the military to maximize their pension, I waived away my 30,000 college fund and exited the military as a concientious objector.

What's my point? Jehovah's Witnesses do not have the truth. Don't waste your time or money with people who use pretty words but who don't have actions that match.

obviously no one here gives a s$$$ what you do with your pension - it's your money. Keep it or give it to the WTBTS, as you please. You have received quite a few nice respectful and helpful answers but it doesn't seem to be enough for you. I'm with pubsinger and what-a-coincidence. Why are you asking folks on this forum instead of asking the elders? Do you want to make sure you like the answer before you approach the elders?
