Maybe somebody could write a good screen play like that, can a plot like that would require a lot of imagination but it sure would be a thoughtful provoking movie.

Speaking as a borderline anarcho-primitivist, to me the word "Government" implies a coercive, hierarchical power structure that seeks to mold natural human beings and natural ecosystems to its own systemic needs, thereby destroying communities and their landbases. Evolution is a process of self organization that leads to partnership, diversity and sustainability.

I recently read an excellent book, The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community, by David C. Korten. Just click on the link for more information.

Before that I read Endgame Vol. 1: The Problem of Civilization by Derrick Jensen.

I believe that technology can only affect human evolution in a negative way. Technology has been used up to this point for power and profit at the expense of life and diversity. If civilization continues on its current path with the dominator power structures in control of WMD, then the future of human and non-human life on this planet could be a massive die off. There exists the chance that Empire civilization will crumble this century and possibly be replaced by partnership-based communities.

What's really going to happen? I don't know. I just don't believe in either a Star Trek techno-utopia or a Paradise Earth(tm) ruled over by Jay Hoover's oldest son.

While technology has it's negatives, I think it plays an inportant role in our evolution, just like learning how to make stone tools, fire, and the wheel have. Tool making, if it don't lead to our extinction, can also figure in as a mixed blessing in the evolution of our speices.

The chinese say religion is the opiate of the masses. I think in America votiing is the opiate of the masses. Voting enables the US citicens to tolerate the corrupt political rulers and feel they have a say in their destiny. Their destiny is to work and pay more taxes.

Herbert Marcus, One-dimensional Man, is a very good read. He explains how our "leaders" controls our thoughts (sounds familiar). When humanity realises that we are able to survive by cooperating then will not need governments. I think people right now don't trust there fellow man to do with out government and it's understandable, I think knowledge is the starting point. There is to much ignorance in the world right now. I hope one day humanity does evolve for the better.

I don't like labels when I ask what I beleive because labels tend to restrict and force one into a mold.

I prefere to just explore with the mind without the molds and shakles, that labelings brings and just explore like every day is a first day and one views every moment is first time, with no labels restricting, with a knowingness that we imagine what we see and therefore, basically are imaginary. No way to get around it no imagination no "you", period! since there is no you,without imagination.

hey,lets face it you are what you imagine, everything is image, if you can't imagine very big then you get that image, try imagine everything imaginary, take sex for an example, if you can imagine good, focus, lots of sex, see what come up in mind, nice slippery, guwy, yummy, good sex like good imagination.
