I can't remember if it was last year or year before, but there are photos of them and the security guards and black limousines, etc. Seems they were hot about all the coverage that year (yes, 2006, Bildy's mat at patrios for exposing them). Maybe I saw the pics at Alex Jones' site?... (update, yes, link further below for 2006 Bildy meeting). One recent year it was in the news that Bush made a stop-in at their meeting on one of his journeys through Europe or Middle East, etc. I think they met in Germany in the recent past. Glad you enjoyed your "timeout." Once I finish up here, I'm a goner too. Took a full seven days off recently from the internet, and yes, it's great to get away from it (just hard to catch up afterward when everything has piled up).
Re: criticisms, they are fine, differeing opinions, etc. It's all in the ATTITUDE. Hateful, mocking, scoffing, that's what gets old, as if there is only ONE way of thinking allowed when it comes to the "New World Order." Different opinions is another thing entirely. There's way too much "nastiness" that goes on. One poor kid got kicked off not all that long ago for bringing up Illuminati/Masons/WT. I don't really know what happened as I wasn't around during that time, but I saw the nasty haughty attitude of the moderator who booted him, and their response was bad enough, "WE DON'T WANT THAT CRAP AROUND HERE." Something to that effect.
Which is why I spend more time in my own email group, not to mention it's a whole lot easier sharing info in email format than in forum format.
As for disinfo, yes. But too much of that going around, too. It's like now EVERYBODY is accused of being disinfo, all pointing fingers at the others, etc. It get's old, actually. I just read the usual sources I've been reading for awhile and decipher it out myself since I feel I have a pretty good all-around handle by now of what's going on. And I've quit listening to all the disinfo-accusers. It's as bad as this place sometimes.

Alice Bailey reveals much truth about Freemasonry in these words, above. Freemasonry reveres the Egyptian All-seeing Eye of Horus, which is Satanic through and through. Bailey also ties together as one organization the Universal Church of Antichrist, Freemasonry, and other esoteric (occult) groups such as Rosicrucians, the Knights Templars, the Order of the Golden Dawn, and many other such groups of occult magick throughout history!
Then, Bailey lays all the cards on the table for anyone who wants to understand, when she says, that Masonry is "a far more occult organisation than can be realised and is intended to be the training school for the coming advanced occultists." Freemasonry is the "training school for the coming advanced occultists" which will lead America and the world into the coming New World Order. This revelation casts new meaning on the many U.S. Presidents which have been Freemasons, doesn't it? We now realize, with horror, that these men were "advanced occultists" leading America away from the One True God of the Bible and toward the Great One [Antichrist].

Every exposed conspiracy starts out as a conspiracy theory.
Many conspiracy theories are based on nothing other than speculation, with either no supporting facts or precious few facts that can be twisted to make them seem as if they indeed expose a conspiracy.
On the other hand, we have the Bilderburg Group, other secret societies, and the goal of a New World Order that is being fulfilled just as planned. When I first began to study these things, I was very skeptical. As more data became exposed, and the plan continues to unfold, the only ones who attempt to refute what is obviously a conspiracy (no longer a theory) are:
1)- The Global Elite, their lackies and most of the media.
2)- Those with their head in the sand.
3)- Those who are afraid of what others will think if they vocalize belief in the conspiracy.
Labeling someone a "Conspiracy Theorist" used to mean they were a certifiable nut-job.
Today, it requires taking the time to research the theory to see whether it is more likely a "Conspiracy Fact".

That is an interesting comment by you Abaddon, I would still appreciate if you submit your thoughts in a respectful manner. I started this thread and do not ridicule any opinion no matter how extreme they may appear to me. I wanted to have a frank and open discussion about it. Ridiculing something just shuts down the investigation. I agree there are probably things that need to be ironed out but only frank and diligent research and subsequent discussion may yield answers not ridicule. If you want to 'help' someone gain a different perspective perhaps you could try reasoning and referring them to referenced evidence.
And that is what this board is all about to help people deal with certain issues not to shut them down, because if you do you are more likely to solidify their beliefs in things that may appear on fringe to you.I understand your feelings and if you look at my postings before you would see strong arguments against things such as "Freemasons/illuminati/ etc controlling the world" which is still my strong belief that they don't. I've investigated the topic well enough to know the difference. But I did find Bilderberg group rather interesting for the reasons already stated, I do not believe they are shadowy government but it seems that they are a group with an agenda that works through more subtle avenues of lobbying and persuasion. Now, they may have perfectly awesome vision of the world, I don't know. What I do know is that we live in democratic society and when it comes to my leaders I indeed appreciate a certain level of transparency (perhaps made more poignant by our collective experience as JW with our elders). Why? because these leaders represent me and you and I'm often finding they are more concern in creating smokescreen than about really doing things right. Just because they are on high positions doesn't make them immune to same things and 'weird' beliefs 'ordinary' people may have.
Unrelated to this topic, just the other day there was a program on Discovery channel in which some government officials staunchly denying that US has capability to zoom in on individual people like seen in some Hollywood movies. In fact, I thought myself that was probably pretty ridiculous anyway, just fancy story telling, right?!. Well, this morning I'm reading biography by Gordon Cooper, one of the first US Astronauts and to my astonishment I'm reading they had those capabilities back in 1960's. Gordon was simply casually describing what they did and he said and I quote
"After splashdown and while Pete and I were still aboard the recovery vessel, the exposed film from that mounted camera was rushed to a darkroom and developed. I was shown a few pictures - including some unbelievable closeups of the car license plates - before someone walked into the wardroom and informed me that all the photos and negatives from that camera were being confiscated and the experiment classified" Leap of Faith - An Astronaut's Journey into the Unknown by Gordon Cooper, page 148
