  Hi Everyone, Hope this finds you all well! I am in the process of getting out, but could do with help.

  I am wanting to know more of the doubts/concerns, cover ups/scandals and abuse etc. I keep getting asked why I am no longer going but find it hard to have material to back up what I am saying. Any info you can provide would help me. Please also offer web sites that may help.

  I am wanting to expose the false teachings but need more facts.

  Why not simply express your own reasons if that is the route you want to go down. You don't need better reasons for leaving, I am sure your own reasons are good enough.

  Sorry to burst your bubble but you won't be exposing anything as they won't listen to you.

  On the other hand, if you want do this for your self esteem by knowing you stood up to them, why not start by browsing this forum? Click on 'Jehovahs Witness Discussion Forum' near the top left hand corner of your screen. That will take you to the subjects page with plenty of relevant titles and more than enough information to stump any elder.

  brinjen, not sure how to take your comment!! Yes I know that the top left hand corner takes me to the discussions!really trying to get assistance with proving with facts some of the errors and was hoping for website links that back things up. Things like how 607BCE is incorrec as an example.

  Welcome.

  The only/best advice I can give you, is to read some of the older posts. Pick what interests you. You will find a wealth of information here. This forum is filled with ex-elders, ministerial servants, bethelites, pioneers and the like. Just pick a topic and read the responses. Most, if not all of your questions will be answered.

  However, if there is something specific you need an answer to, post it as a new topic, and see what comes in.

  I have been out of the borg since 1981, and this board has helped me more than anything else I have/had tried and/or found.

  Do you want to be shunned by the Witnesses? Or not?
  
  Because leaving is easy, just walk through the door and don't return. The issue for many is whether or not they want to be shunned by current Witnesses.
