Great job, B. I believe your posting these study articles has made the GB so paranoid that they are going to try to make them inaccessible to you and the rest of us "apostates." Congratulations!

When I was a 15-year-old new publisher, I was out in field service one day with a group of sisters. One of them was laughing at a householder who was Roman Catholic because the hh had told her that the priest took care of everything so she didn't need to delve into the scriptures in a profound way. How ironic!

BTW, I'm happy and most of my friends are, too; we all think for ourselves and support one another. In the 28 years since I escaped, I have never once felt the need to talk to an elder about who I should go to the game with.

    Thanks,

    SandraC

Blondie, I too was Baptized after having a review with three Elders from the questions in the "LAMP BOOK", 1970. I studied in 1969, got Baptized at the 1970 District Convention. Your Word Is A Lamp To My Foot!

In the the 30 something years that I have been slaving for the Watchtower I read at least 6 different versions of the Bible cover to cover. I studied every book of the Bible twice. Then other individual ones much more, i.e. Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes etc. My flock book had so many notes that other Elder's wanted to borrow it for cited marginal references and other notes that filled it. One Elder, the P.O. told the C.O. that I had a flock book of my own inside the flock book. I'm sorry that I turned it in when I stepped down.

I agree that many, when I was in, only read the Watchtower's publications which was quoted more than the Bible. The "NWT" is what they mean when they say study ( God's Word )

Thanks Blondie, without your "Comments Series" I would not be able to keep abreast on what the Watchtower is currently feeding the rank and file.

it never fails to amaze me on the "ASS" ociation thing that

1 Cor 10: 27 is always conveniently forgotten. Paul is speaking of being at a meal where one might be offered food used in pagan rites, strangled or unbled meat. This is something that would never happen socializing with another Christian.

"if you wish to go -" The WT adroitly sets aside the word of God AGAIN.

Cor, 10:29 "For why should it be that MY FREEDOM is judged by ANOTHER PERSON'S CONCIENCE?" Meaning if you can't show me in crystal clear B&W out of da Bible, then you better just eff off.

    Shun unbelievers entirely...no

What does it mean though to show an interest...obviously not going to a soccer game with them, but you

can go with the PO with the season tickets.

    ROFL

and be careful not to talk to the people that will be sitting next to you at the game...

paragraphs 6 to 10 made me vomit.

So does this mean that Jesus did or did not form a strong bond with Judas who did not live up to the "moral values" of the WT? Or did he?

One of those articles that proves for a fact that JWs are NOT a christian religion. They despise everyone who is not a JW. Christians should have the absolute opposite view!

But then, a cult needs this kind of mentality.....and that is exactly what they are.

    Sad really.

    Thanks Blondie!

I agree Gill. I was brought up to only associate with baptized JW and shun all others. I had to study with a friend at school to associate with him. If the study ended, then I had to shun that person. Does the GB really wants isolated people watching no movies (except Disney?) no internet, only going outdoors to walk door to door and sit in a KH. Is that the spiritual paradise?

Great. Now my folks are going to pester me because I went to see the Padres play last Wednesday night...

Edit: Great work as usual, Blondie...I also liked Pistoff's post; very funny!
