Which JW commandment did you break first ?

I always tried to my best as a JW, to observe what the Watchtower and bible told us "not to do". Then I became inactive and lowered my guard, and didn't care as much. I think that my first JW sin, was playing lotto, then talking to disfellowshipped ones in my congregation, then posting on apostate forums, and then giving blood. Once you get to that point, you don't mind breaking more rules, unless it goes against your beliefs or conscience.

Which JW commandements did you break first?

My 1st one had to be giving money the United Way! At the time I didn't even know I was breaking any rules, but then I heard an elder say that it would be wrong to give money to a "worldy" charity!!!

I tied to give blood to the Red Cross but they would not take it. Anemic blood.

    I will try again.

Mine was to let my son play sports and then to coach myself.

I've broken a few more since then.

Marrying an "unbeliever." Even though we have since parted company, it was the beginning of the end of my WTS servitude.

I had one of those "second shift" jobs too tnangel73. One of the elders even told me that I should consider quiting, because I was missing too many meetings. I asked him who was gonna pay my rent after I quit my job? He walked away and I'm still waiting for an answer!!!
