No, they're performers. They wave around scientific instruments in order to appear skeptical. It makes it all the more exciting for the gullible when the "skeptics" can't explain what happened. Out of curiosity though what explanation did the "skeptics" give for the toy dragon making noise? Was it just that it was a toy designed and built to do exactly that? Or something more elaborate?

From what I remember, they really didn't have an explanation. It's not that it just made noise, it made noise on command.

What about the water faucet that turned itself on? You ever heard of that? They work in the plumbing industry and they said they had never seen or heard of anything like that.

It involves the producer needing to keep up his shows ratings in order not to end up delivering tea and doughnuts at Warner Brothers and his taking dragon noise lessons at his local ventriloquists club.

You are relying on the honesty of people who have a vested interest financially in keeping a show on TV. Do you trust that this is all above Board given such a parameter? IMHO this is just the latest fad in a world of entertainment where producers know that they can sell anything at all to a viewing public whose objectivity is at an all time low, and get very rich by doing so.

Yes, I do.

The integrity of the producers of such pap will never I hope, become a barometer of what is honest and what is not. The whole show is based on an obvious fraud. It relies on gullible people who crave the sort of sensationalism that drags them above the mediocrity of the nine 2 five to exist.

As I noted, there are enough gullible people around to ensure that this version of snake oil will never be off the menu.

did anyone see that one where they were staying in a hotel, and the blanket moved off the corner of the bed, like if someone was removing the covers? That one was pretty cool, I like to watch this show but my wife gets freaked out, there is another show that is pretty cool its A Haunting? I really like that one.

I don't care if anyone says that I am silly because I look for ghosts, like to go to Haunted places or believe in it, its just fun. Fear and Love only emotions to let you know your heart is beating.

The show is entertaining and fun to many people, including myself. What I don't understand is why anyone would insult those who choose to watch it? I don't think anyone here is taking it at 100% face value other than that they find this sort of thing fascinating on whatever level. Warlock was mearly starting a thread that might appeal to like minded people, and I didn't get the impression at all he was doing anything to convince anyone that this was all TRUE and everyone must BELIEVE. Why would anyone take issue with that?

I find some responses here to be of a bullying nature... that's awfully sad...

I suppose I should start threads with real intelligent titles like, "Technical and Fundamental Stock Market Analysis" "Theories on Stock Market Speculation" "Candlestick Charting" "Hedging with Puts and Calls".
