Sounds cool. Sorry I missed it.

These people are skeptics, not believers.
They are believers . Jason said he had his own personal experience that led him to wanting to research. They do look for normal things before being convinced of paranormal . Not saying they wouldn't fake evidence but I think they are on the level for the most part. Of course the skeptic society would call them a fraud else they'd have to cough up that 1 million dollars.

Don't care, to me it's fun to watch.

The show is entertaining and fun to many people, including myself. What I don't understand is why anyone would insult those who choose to watch it? I don't think anyone here is taking it at 100% face value other than that they find this sort of thing fascinating on whatever level.
If that's the case then I apologise if I've rained on anybody's parade. I thought people actually believed that the show was more than a group of charlatans faking minor supernatural incidents. (Warlock certainly seems to.) But if it's more like professional wrestling where everybody knows it's staged, then I've no real problem with it. I admit I don't see the point, I'd rather watch a well-written drama or an intelligent documentary than a piece of fiction disguised as fact, but that's just personal preference. As long as you don't actually believe it, there's probably no harm done. (In fact, that's probably why they make it seem so hokey, so that nobody will think it's actually real.)

No wonder so many people get fleeced by the unscurpulous if people believe stuff like this is real.
If a bunch of TV people can easily get such amasing 'evidence', then how come such amasing claims for ghostie activity have never been validated when investigated by genuine scientists?
Come on people, have a little self-respect. THINK. It's entertainment. It as scientific and rigourous as Brainiac. As truthful as an election promise.
Just because your like the idea of ghosties being real doesn't make it true. Eye witness evidence is NOT reliable, not even yours. If there was any truth in the claims how come all it ever is is eyewitness evidence and stuff that doesn't happen the minute it's credible scientists looking at it??
No pro-ghostie has ever proved a thing (other than their own credulity) not once ever, and none of the pro-ghosties crew here will do anything other than complain about the attitude of skeptics, whine about unfairness, or make excuses why scientists can't duplicate such results. The usual suspects are at it, once again. Wooo! Behind you!!! Pff!!
How come people have this massive double standard here? Dubbies are dumb for beleving in demonised smurfs but TV shows must be believed with the forocity of a resident of JonesTown's enthusiasm for KoolAid? You what?
If they are stupid in beleiving silly supersticious nonsense that has no evidence to support it, what are the people who ALSO believe other silly supersticious nonsense that has no evidence to support it? Be consistent.

Oh no, I wouldn't insult any one who watched it. I only insult people who are credulous enough to believe that rubbish is real. I insult Dubbies for beliving in demonised Smurfs. I would be a hypocrite if I didn't insult equally slack-brained nonsense.

I suppose I should start threads with real intelligent titles like, "Technical and Fundamental Stock Market Analysis" "Theories on Stock Market Speculation" "Candlestick Charting" "Hedging with Puts and Calls".
Is that enough, or do you want more?
In threads like that you could provide evidence what you say is true. Other people could apply trhe same techniques and have similar results.
Now, why not compare your ghostie beliefs (which you cannot provide evidence for and which yield different results for different people when identical techniques are used) with something they can be fairly compared to, like demonised smurfs?

I can't say that I have seen the particular program in question, in the UK we have a show called "Most haunted" that sounds very similar. I always had difficulty believing that anyone takes these sorts of shows seriously, I mean even if you believe in this stuff you must admit that there is no way they could find these "supernatural" events every time they turn up and switch on the cameras, and yet every week that is what happens!
My own favourite was the episode when Derick Acorah (Most haunted's resident
fraudsterahem, psychic) was 'possessed' by the spirit of Margaret of Anjou, strangely the 'spirit' of Margaret had learnt to speak modern day English despite having failed to learn medievil English. She seemed to have mellowed in death since she was quite happy to speak to everyone in a broad northern accent and call everyone luv. Her famous temper tantrums and love of beating servants for the most minor infraction as well as her ruthless ambition also seemed to be absent during her 'possession' of derick. One can only assume that Derick simply assumes that his audience are too stupid to have read any history books, I understand he has been caught faking stuff before so perhaps it is little wonder.
