Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight. Yah. I got some moves to that one and the ladies still scream when I do it.

Disco came out after I left the JWs. I didn't like it and it wasn't cool to most of my friends. Mostly we enjoyed watching the girls getting out on the floor and dancing with each other. That was exciting.

Disco is still played nowadays at functions and it is still enjoyed mostly by the women. Bumping room only on the floor. The music I enjoy more now than I did back then.

Fornication? I think it was the liquor, not the dancing. Close the bar and the last woman there always wanted to go home with someone.

"I Will Survive" by who's her name? That was Gloria Gaynor, who also had a make of Never Can Say Goodbye out in late 1974. I Will Survive came out in 1979, at the start of that year. Chantay Savage had a quiet-storm version of I Will Survive in 1996, for anyone who likes slow jams as well as disco.

I remember alot of the TV shows back then had disco background music. I dont really care for disco as such, but it does take me back down memory lane every now and then. Mom was big into disco, this was when she was pulling away from the meetings and dating worldly men-gasp!! I remember the lesiure suits along with the polysester shirts.

I remember seeing an interview with Donna Summer a few years back and she said she was a JW. I bet the GB didn't mind taking in donations from Donna Summer even if the money came from evil disco royalties. Give me a break.

The 'Love to Love Ya Baby" albumn should have come with a washable cover. lol

I know that if Donna Summer was a Witless, they would have given her a mighty hard time about the Bad Girl album when it came out. After all, the song itself was one that many faithful Witlesses would have probably thrown away. And the song Dim All the Lights seems a bit suggestive for one of those Witlesses. As long as all proceeds went to support the Worldwide Pedophile Protection Work, they would have probably looked the other way.

Then, why did they give Michael Jackson such hell on the Thriller LP? Perhaps because he kept the money for himself?

I understood that Donna Summer became a BAC, not a JW...?

Always felt she had a superior voice to Barbra Streisand but she never acheived the same level of success

Many of the hymns of Christendom have the tunes of popular music and some of the protestant reformers have said " Why should the devil have all the good music'.

    Bee Gees ~~~ STAYIN' ALIVE

Love Barry Gibbs and the tight pants and falsetto voice.

I remember our PO dragging in a bunch of teens including our daughter and then started spouting that the beat of "rock" is the same as the "beat" of sexual intercourse. LMFAO!

I could hardly contain myself w/laughter. God I thought - if this were true........well use your imagination......

Where do they get this stuff?!? Maybe if his wife's head was a little further from the headboard he wouldn't have that problem.
