So what Rock Bands (or any other groups) did you miss out on seeing back in the 60's, 70's, 80's, due to being in the organization?
Who of you sneeked to a concert, and which groups were they?
C'mon...you know you wanted to see Led Zepplin!

Zeppelin was a little before my time(would've loved to see them in their prime though). I did have a chance to go to a Metallica concert in 91 though. I passed on it at the time. What was I thinking.
INXS - the Original Sin concert was obviously going to be either anti religious or about sex.
new kids on the block. i so wanted to see them. hahahahahahaa seriously, though, pink floyd is my favorite band, and they came here on their last tour and i had to miss it for a convention. i'll probably never get to see them live now.
Guns and Roses, and Dylan in the christian years 80's, but I listen to Wolfmother (oz band) and don't care who cares.
Went to see Van Halen, Robert Plant, and Metallica towards the end of my JW days....never missed a concert due to JW pressure. A workmate and friend of mine however was raised in the WCOG and could not go to a Depeche Mode concert because it was on Saturday, the sabbath. I recall how disappointed she was about not going.
I saw only one concert in my life and I did it by defying the elders and my entire family. I can't even begin to tell you what I missed in my life. I am 20 years behind in everything when it comes to music. I know plenty of others though, that didn't miss anything.
I snuck with some JW friends and saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snoop Dogg in concert a couple of years ago.
Best show ever. The concert wasn't amazing, but the rebellion was beautiful.
I really wanted to see Journey back in about '82 or '83. I also really wanted to see Van Halen (the Roth days) back then. And Rush, but my mom heard that rush was a gay thing and that it stood for rules under satans hand.
