I thought both articles were excellent and would like to thank Stephen Bates for giving his time and attention to the subject.

I'm sure with the coming Dateline / child-abuse exposure in the US that it won't be long before Jehovahs Witnesses (or more specifically, the WatchTower Bible & Tract Society) will be in the news again and worthy of a few more column inches.

Thanks again for your work Stephen.

BTW: I certainly don't think that the word hypocrite was too strong at all. In fact, it you would be hard pressed to come up with a better example of what the word means!

My oh my, Kent. People will have different opinions than yours. People will - *gasp*! - express them. It's happening all the time, you know. It's not necessarily a sign of disrespect. It's actually how a lot of progress is made on this planet.

If criticising others is equivalent to "whining", and if those criticising are "morons", then you have to be the biggest whining hypocritical moron on this board. But apparently those designations are reserved exclusively for those who happen to not agree with you all the time, aren't they?

However, they never do anything else!

Uh, sure. Right. You know a lot about people you don't know...or something like that. Kent, I like what you do and write on this board, and I don't even mind the in-your-face approach most of the time. I just don't get why you have to freak out the way you sometimes do, man. Your sentence above is just plain idiotic overgeneralisation, something we accuse JWs of, don't we?

No, it's not. But what is critisized here is a NEWSPAPER STORY! Any newspaper prints what they want, and they don't care what you think about it - if you're not a representative of the majority! And even thought you don't like to offend JWs, you're NOT a part of the majority.

Facts are it's extremely difficult to get a paper to print anything on the JWs at all - and when someone does, we should be grateful.

Why don't you start up a newspaper? You seem to know all about how to run one :))

I need more BOE letters, KMs and other material. Those who can send it to me - please do! The new section will be interesting!!

I am, as you can read quite clearly :-)

Well, I don't give a fuck whether they give a fuck, and I even care less about being part of some -ority before writing what I think. In that respect, you and I have a lot in common :))
