My personal feeling is that Armageddon will be God's final conquest over Evil. What form or shape that takes is any one's guess. I beleive it is his last act of straighteneing up the Universe. I don't worry about it. I didn't screw things up, and it isn't my responsibility to straighten things out.

Superstition and myth.
I find it depressing that so many otherwise intelligent people can be taken in by this nonsense. In my JW days I was as convinced of Armageddon's reality as the rest of you but how you can all hold onto it in the face of the discussions we have on these boards is beyond me.
We aren't in the dub box anymore, why take your heads out of one confining world-view and place it straight into another?

WTBTS scares their people with the armageddon subject. They try to say that other churches and people out there do not know what is going on in the world. I watch Trinity channel and it seems like they do know.
Good topic, I really do not know what to think about it! Perhaps it tribulation until Armageddon.
I believe in the Bible that is for sure! and it is no myth! humans make myths.

It's not about the dubs. It's faith in the Lord Jesus that makes a Christian. It was He who made the prophecy about Armageddon. Now when it's going to happen? No one can say.

I don't think god or whatever else you want to call it gives two shits about you and I. Armageddon is a feable attempt by tribal monkeys to give their own people some hope with regards to their oppressors.
THINK ABOUT IT FOR A SECOND - if "god" made himself known and seen by all the people of the world and told them to knock the shit off or else (and I'm not talking about some crazed religious zealot beating on doors and declaring salvation to all - BUT GOD HIMSELF DO IT) I can guarentee you that 99.9% of the people of this world would say what do you want us to do. Its a weak argument from gods perspective to say "Look out people, I'm sending you a prophet". Yea lets see some tangible proof. Hell your god!! You can do all things and you supposedly love us pathetic humans, and feel bad when we die, plus you know when a sparrow falls. Give me a break!!! On one hand he cares and knows all things but doesn't know humans well enough to know we are visual creatures and need some tangible visible proof, not the religious bible thumper?! Yet because we won't "believe" the religious nuts he will condemn 99.9% of humanity to a grusome death that I, as a lowely human, wouldn't wish on my worst enemy...

I didn't say it was about the dubs snowbird, my point was that the dub mindset is replicated and repeated amongst almost all faiths - even yours. You think the issue is about when armageddon will happen? You are delusional my friend.

Examine it all you like but if you start to believe it it isn't your soul that needs saving, it's your rational thinking ability.
