My grandmother, who lived to be 104, used to say that a pitcher may go to a well 99 times, and on the 100th time, get broken.
I think this is the WTS' 100th time. Great job, Barbara. You looked and spoke very well.

The day will come when you don't think of anything JW-related for days at a time.

Courage to all who are making the break. It can be very difficult, but it's worth the effort.
Once the programming and conditioning begin to diminish, you'll wonder, "What was wrong with me?"

A little something from The Message Bible that merits serious consideration:
John 10:7-10 "I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.
11-13 "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd puts the sheep before himself, sacrifices himself if necessary. A hired man is not a real shepherd. The sheep mean nothing to him. He sees a wolf come and runs for it, leaving the sheep to be ravaged and scattered by the wolf. He's only in it for the money. The sheep don't matter to him.
The WTS is like the hired man. They will use you until they use you up, then cast you aside like a dirty rag. I've seen it time and time again. I know you have seen it too, else you wouldn't be here. This is a good place for finding the courage to break free.
