was not.
The site is very misleading and poorly informed. They can't even get the name of the organization correct: it's TRACT, not TRACK. Probably doesn't know the difference. Also got the name of the Masonic Center wrong, even though the photo shows what the correct name is.
Russell died in 1916. The Pyramid was put there a few years after Russell died by some of his roadies and fans, and is supposed to be symbolic of the pyramid scheme of salvation, with Christ as keystone at the top. Even though Russell believed the Great Pyramid in Gizeh was "the bible in stone," the pyramid in the center of the Bible student's burial plot was not supposed to represent the Gizeh Pyramid. I'm sure that heavenly Chuck was just furious with the whole affair but was too busy governing the spirit realm with King Jesus to do anything about it. Oh, sure, he COULD HAVE telepathically informed his groupies that their course was one of error, BUT HE DIDN'T.
The Masonic Center was built more than a half century after Russell died.
Put that in you TRACK and smoke it.
33rd? What the hell? How many degrees are there supposedly?
One of the best ways of ensuring I don't read a web site is to begin an assault on my ears right from the outset. I didn't even read the first sentence before closing my browser window.

Freedom Frog:
I have some questions and a link for you:
- What kind of site did you get that information from? What is their main ideology? Don't they look a bit like a watchtower-like religion? What does this say the about the accuracy of their information?
- Does the use of crown&cross really prove a connection to freemasonry? How common was this symbol during the time of Russell?
- Does the pyramid over Russells head and the masonic centre nearby really prove a connection? Who else is buried on these grounds? Didn't Russell have a fascination for the Great Pyramid? How widespread was this fascination during his day?
- Does the flying sun-disc symbol really prove a connection to the occult? Do you know a car brandwith the same symbol? Does that make this car brand occult? Do you know a similair symbol was used by the ancient Persians (ca. 500 BC)? Does that make the ancient Persians occult?

About like saying if you ever use a compass and a square, you are automatically a mason. *sigh*
Chill out guys...I said I found it INTERESTING....I didn't say I agreed with it. I quoted the title to get your attention. I find it interesting that they included Joseph Smith as a Mason and interestingly, the site was sent to me from a Mormon.
She was trying to "prove" to me that the JW's was a satanic religion. I'm just amused that a Mormon sent this to me.

33
There are 33 degrees in Masonry. The most the average Mason can acheive is 32 in either or both rites (Scottish and York).
The 33rd degree is honorary and only conferred on extraordinary individuals who have devoted their lives or made significant acts toward the good of Masonry.
When people can't even prove for a certainty he was even involved in Masonry I sincerely doubt he would ever be conferred with a 33rd degree. I personally do not believe he had any association with Masonry at all except in recruitment attempts to bring Masons into his 'new religion.'
I am familiar with this information particularly from David Icke, The Wactower is an implement of our handlers to keep us in darkness. Dazed and confused so they can divide and conquer your energies.
