my first exposure to tammy was nursing my last child every 2 hours thru the night
the only thing on tv in those days was PTL
she was fascinating, in the view from an active jw
her 'adornments ' etc way to over the edge
then i came to see her thru all her tribulations
i dont know if she had dillusions or mental issues or was just that way
she creaped me out yet at the same time i was jealous of her faith
just my 2 cents

A couple of days ago I saw her on TV and said she looked like the dead alive.
I feel bad for her pain....at least she is out of it now.
For those of us that have watched loved ones die of cancer, that is why I take pity on her. I watched my Mom die of cancer when I was 14...and she also, dropped a ton of weight a couple of months before she died. It is all too sad.

I ran into her in the mall once (I know it's a joke, but I really did) and she was very tiny, overdressed, over=made-up and looked mentally ill - relentlessly cheerful and voluble. Sad person, really creepy husband, what a sleazeball he turned out to be.
yes, her hubby had the ICK factor
women pick up on that so fast,,,and he way way had it
guess tammy was just in her world,,,i have found many women who are

Thank you!
Tammy Faye (Baker) Messner is in God's hands now.
Regardless of how I felt about her in the past......it isn't my place to judge her.
I watched my own wife fade away to less than 100 lbs. because of cancer and my heart goes out to all family and friends of those who have to suffer so.
Go in peace Tammy.
May God be with you.

What a poor sweet soul. I saw her interview on Larry King a couple of days ago. I haven't stopped praying, asking our heavenly father to take her and ease her suffering. I think this is very good news.
Oh gosh, I just saw pics from that interview. How very sad....
There was something beneath the mascara: a large-hearted, happy, non-judgemental person. She would have been the laughingstock of any Kingdom Hall in the world. But so would many good-hearted people.
