Welcome LDF, it's a shame that you had to suffer as a JW long after you and your parents abandoned the cult, you should have made it clear to them that you celebrated birthdays and Christmas just like they did that you were no different.

Hello Greendawn. The problem is these were the sort of people who generally liked to pick on others, so they would pretend it was because I was a jw, even though I told them that I was no longer one. I think some people are just genuinely unkind and unpleasant, best to avoid them if at all possible :).

hey faery....I was a middle child too.....thing is...there was only 2 of us.....weird family......da ninja
