I think everyone who said "ask someone who has good hair where they go" might be on to something. I'll let you know, I'm seeing someone new tomorrow for a color change. It's very difficult to find a good hairdresser for me as well.

Losing mid back blond hair length to just brushing shoulder length, having it colored wrong, and the softness taken out...hurts...especially when this is as a girl, one of my best features.
Damn it I Hate hair dressers. They just love to cut hair, and turn it into something they think is wonderful. Men never did this and always left the length, ....... but the women wanted all cut off.
The men who cut my hair have moved. I am left with scissor happy women.

You can ask someone where they get their hair done ... but we all have very different hair, likes and dislikes. What suits one can be disasterous to the next person. For a good cut that suits the person, it amounts to trial and error. Take a photo of a cut you like and ask for them to copy it. Men do seem to cut women's hair the best.

I brought in a picture, and it wasn't even close when finished. I have now purchased my own hair color...i'll let you know how it comes out.

Before you colour it ... take some before pictures ... then some afters. It would be nice to see the difference.

I know this works for resturants, not sure about hair salons. Drive by a few on a Saturday and see how many cars there are in the lot. If it's full, it gotta be good.

Just went up to my local grocery store and purchased hair coloring. Low and behold, it came out beautiful....alll for $12.00 dollars. It's very sexy, and my hair feels like it use to...soft, blond and pretty.
What a relief!!! No more professional hair bullshit artists for me.
