There are copies of letters from District Overseer Don Amy to the Service Dept. about one of the cases as well.
seeker4,
Is this the DO who serves south Alabama? Is his wife's name Natasha?
Well, well, well.

I've emailed Stephen dot Bates at guardian dot co dot
Hi Stephen
I am a lifelong x-JW still working my way out of the cult, and your breaking story on the UN scandal was a major factor in helping me do that.
As you probably know there is a new story breaking of equal or greater importance and it would be great if you could publish something that would help other JW's come to realise the problems within their faith.

The letters are from when Don was DO in Oregon in the mid-1990s. They are about the congregations dealing with a notorious pedophile in that area - nothing bad about Don himself. And if I remember correctly, his wife's name was Natasha.

I wonder if the WT lawyers are getting any sleep? I sure hope not! They better think about going into private practice.

S4Thank you. He is the one. He gave a talk at a CA once, pointing a finger at a Catholic priest from south Alabama who confessed to years of ual abuse of boys in his parish.
I wonder if he remembers that talk? I certainly do. He even had a copy of the newspaper that reported on the case. It was a notorious case in a small town that really set tongues to wagging. Talk about the chickens coming home to roost! Hallelujah!
