This is perhaps an example of what Stilla was referring to : Watchtower Sept.2007 in an article "HOW TO CULTIVATE LOVE FOR GOD IN YOUR CHILD'S HEART" page 10 under the heading "Selecting Associates"
"Moreover ,it is worthwhile to make oppotunities for our children to meet Jehovah's Witnesses who have taken up the full-time ministry as their career in life.
Many who have chosen that course did so because of associating with zealous servants of God. A sister who became a missionary says " My parents invited Pioneers for a meal on numerous occasions. They were obviously so happy in their ministry that I wanted to serve God in the same way" "
Of course , our childrens attitudes can be influenced both for good and for bad. The dangers of bad associations therefore challenge our skills as parents. 1 Cor 15:33 It is an art to teach youngsters how to avoid socializing with those who neither love Jehovah nor know him. Prov 13:20Shawn quoted earlier says "We taught our youngsters to have freindly working relationships with schoolmates but to leave those relationships there - mat school. Our children understood why they should not share in extracurricular activities or school sports events"
There you go, notice how cunningly they use the third person quote to drive the law down ,they don't directly lay down a law such as "no JW parent will allow sports school events etc to be part of there childrens life" but they use the model example to drive the law home and then no-one can accuse them of being wrong!
As for parents searching out Pioneers to encourage their kids ,I honestly think in a lot of areas parents would have a battle to find any of these model people to help them.
No mention of Prince ,the Williams sisters etc just take our pointed laws thru third person advocates.
