Online tests that want to sell you a product at the end have an incentive to inflate your score. It gave me 138.

Although it is claimed otherwise, I am positive that the more of these type tests you do the higher scores you get. But that doesn't make you any smarter.

Plus 100 is meant to be average, but average scores are invariably above that.

And I don't know what I am: I don't believe in God any more, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I am an atheist. I wouldn't call myself agnostic either, let's just say I'm pretty confused.

I got 149 - I guessed the answer to all the math questions It told me that I'm very good at mathematics I guess I must be able to count intuitively

I wouldn't call myself an atheist just yet though

Good points. It doesn't really mean anything other than an ego boost anyways

I didn't take this one, but the last rather serious test I took, under less than ideal circumstances, gave me a score of 125 (while I was still a theist). However, as mentioned, a high score on an online test isn't much to brag about. A good IQ test should be made in such a way that it could rather precisely measure even the IQ of a "bush man" with no knowledge of math. It's all about your ability to solve problems within a time frame, and matching the result to your age.

As for who is the more intelligent, theists or atheists, I don't think the IQ score necessarily is any different, at least not on average. It's more about how you use that intelligence, and what you constantly tell yourself is correct, and how that defines the outcome of your thinking process.

-There are theists with a long education in theology and things related to it, and can answer most questions regarding what they believe. Then there are theists who haven't really read up on anything at all, but are 'saved' in one meeting and from there on all they need is 'faith'.

-There are atheists with a long education in various sciences who can answer pretty much any question they may get asked about it. Then there are atheists born from atheist parents and haven't really thought much about it, but surmise that God can't exist because there is a lot of evil in the world.

I used to be a theist, and am now an atheist. I doubt my IQ has suddenly shot through the roof because of it; I've just started thinking in a different manner, with a new set of "ground rules".

IQ: At or above the 51st percentile of Ursine intelligence.

Just ask me, I'll tell ya I'm smart. Don't need no stinkin' test. It always messes up and gives me a 69 for some reason.

Given my current level of smarts, strong belief in God seems illogical. But if a higher power "splains" it to me someday, I'll listen. Not holding my breath.

A proper IQ test doesn't reward guessing. Most will have you input the answer which makes them unsuitable for real testing on the internet. Multiple choice is popular, but true/false allows you to have a 50% chance of guessing any answer.

It strokes your ego and entices you to buy a full report to flatter you more.

Yes I took the test, and yes I'm an amazing genius.

And I'm agnostic, is it surprising that I doubt the validity of this test? :D
