Ah, I feel sorry for her because she got stage fright. I can actually see it in her face.

Here's the link her redeeming herself on NBC news...

I remember being in front of 80 JW's trying to give my talk; I got stage fright the moment I sat down. I couldn't even see the paper I had prepared from being too scared. I got up, walked off the stage and went into the bathroom crying. From that point on I never did get in front of a large audience; they were always in the back (which was bad enough).

Twas a joke, not meant to be a historically accurate document, lol. And which parts aren't hmmm?Twas a joke, not meant to be a historically accurate document, lol. And which parts aren't hmmm?

I was hoping that was the case! Velcro was invented by a Swiss doctor and Alexander Graham Bell was a US citizen when he invented the telephone. He did live in Canada for a few years.

Just by way of the fact that this thread has lasted this long with no answer to the question is proof of how this pageant was rigged.

These ladies are trained and practise maintaining there composure under pressure. The reason she lost her composure is because the question cannot be answered.

It wouldn't suprize me if one of the judges got paid off by a parent,or is sleeping with one of the contestants.

The way that asshole in the end rubbed it in, was disgusting, intentional and rude.

She has a lot more composure than you think

The funny thing is such a question upon first hearing may sound very easy. one fifth can't locate this, why is that? So know one stops to question,if they themselves can answer it. No one will question the Judges either. Everyone will automatically assume all is fine.

Decisions made by judges, or shall I say bullies with huge egos, will never be questioned just as the decisions of the elders in Kingdom halls,no matter how harsh or ridiculous will ever be questioned.

This type of behaviour should be severly punished, and a form of accountability must be put in place.

The pageant need not redeem herself. The judges and elders of this world must redeem themselves.

I always expected beauty pagents to have gone the way of mood rings and pet rocks. I can't believe they are still around. But since we live in such a synthetic, plastic and superficial culture I am not surprised they continue on.

I have felt the same way in the past. However, in all fairness, these are not "beauty pageants" in the common sense of the term. They are talent competitions where beauty is a small part of the equation.
