Lefty - I still haven't received an answer - I'm sorry to say. There are examples that the JW's can use for proving their doctrine, yet on the most fundamental they cannot? This does not make sense. I don't care what the normal "rank and file" member thinks - I care about what God thinks. And for me, this doesn't make sense. They can't keep changing doctrine & be the truth, or else what truth would it be? New light that gets brighter & brigher - meaning spreads out - NOT CHANGES

The main problem as I see it is to answer first the question :
How does the FDS get their information - light if you like.
When this is established and proven one way or another then you have a basis for further investigation.
I always wondered, and asked, how the Holy Spirit chose those 'ones' to be MS and elders. As the years went by and I saw more and more injustices perpetrated by these 'chosen ones' and a clear conflict between perceived and actual behaviour (e.g. a 'one' who looked at pornomags and swore like a trooper at work and denied they were a JW by saying they were looking into it and were just interested, despite being baptised for oodles of years was made 'up to' a MS)I thought this can't be right and vocalised it to an elder, however unwisley, and so am a marked one.
Now if the HS cannot tell a good'n from a bad'n how can it ever give the right food at the proper time.
The truth of the matter to me is this: The truth is simple. Why have we made it so complicated. Book after dull repititious book. To the making of many books etc., etc. Is all this 'new light' just to keep the presses churning out endless mags and books. And we are made to feel that we must exhibit gratitude for yet more mind numbing regurgitation. I remember a mag article - awake I think, about a lorry load of relief to some god forsaken balkan country where there were in-need brothers. The article said that the bros were more interested in all the bibles and mags than the food and clothing. Yeah right.
Cobblers I say. Anyway this has not been much help to anyone I am just sounding off. But thats my 2p's worth.
