Hey Jemimah, we can appreciate your delicate situation. And thanks for the tip. Would you risk too much to give us the time frame of this collusion between IBSA and the WCC? Also would you say this is as scandalous as the UN thing? Thanks again, Dino

    Thanks Dino

June 1996 to approx last week, the UN fiasco has got them running scared.

Thats all I can say for present, I have to admit that I don't know the full story, just enough to raise serious alarm bells.

I don't think that any WT corp is involved just the IBSA charity

    Jemimah,

Would it not be possible to email some one of us privately, providing sufficient specifics to enable us to 'ferret out' what it is you are talking about? I've searched and find nothing, others are searching and (evidently) finding nothing. If you cannot give specifics publicly here for fear of revealing your identity, can you not do so privately to some trusted individuals so this issue does not remain a questionable tease?

    Best wishes,
    Rational ( [email protected])

    Hi there, JEMIMAH

Could you please tell me the URL to some of the pages, or give me a hint as for what to search for? I have tried some fancy searches - but I don't get any real interesting pages on these searches.

So, some hints would be good.

You're also welcome to mail me. [email protected]

    To Dino, Kent and others

I am sorry it takes me so long to reply, I can only use an internet cafe computer to log on, as my "work" computer is monitored by IBSA plumbers!!

I don't know any url's, however I have seen some info pass my desk by mistake. about a real connection to the WCC.

Some of you that know me will realise what area I am involved in at IBSA.

I am aware that there is a great deal of effort in trying to conceal this connection especially after the UN fiasco, I have heard that Brooklyn is going "ape" trying to plug any leaks.

Any info on the net will surely have altered, but I am hopeful that the info will be cached on some mirror site.

This info is genuine and does invole small monetery transactions so there will be a trail

Sorry that I can't divulge any more, but I think all will appreciate the consequences of detection

    UK/Global Money $hocks

Posted by Maximus [Guest] on August 06, 2000 at 17:58:11 {su8vUSTTosUVxPAJpNU6ni6QXcPL8M}:

Some of you may have overlooked a modest post a few days ago that I strongly suggest you now pay very close attention to. Please do read it carefully, especially in light of other recent troubling activities in the UK. The British have not taken too kindly to the idea that untaxed monies ostensibly for charity from the UK are being shipped to the Watch Tower Society in the U.S., yet there is a loophole ...

The Society is attempting to do something that could be construed by some as worldwide money laundering so as to get around the principle of rendering to Caesar what is rightfully Caesar's in each country globally. (Or perhaps we are about to receive "new light" on the identity of the "higher powers." Maybe the GB?)

Under the guise of Kingdom Hall Funds some very creative money funneling could take place if the scheme is unchallenged.

The following small announcement appeared in The Times in the UK, Friday July 28, 2000:

    "PUBLIC NOTICES

"CHARITY: The Society Kingdom Hall Fund administered in connection with the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain (1077961) REFERENCE: HB 150055-CS(Ldn)

"The Charity Commission proposes to make a Scheme to enable the fund to be used WORLD WIDE. [caps mine] A copy of the draft Scheme can be seen at the registered office of Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain, IBSA House, The Ridgeway, London NW7 1RN for a period of 21 days commencing July 31, 2000.

"Or it can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Charity Commission, Harmsworth House, 13-15 Bouverie Street, London, EC4Y 8DP quoting the above reference. Comments or representations can be made within one month from today."

James King, columnist for The Guardian newspaper of Great Britain, advises me of the following and asks that I pass it along to you:

Scheme is the operative word in more than one way. "The Watch Tower Society is in reality 'scheming' to take advantage of lax British tax loopholes to facilitate movement of Watchtower funds round the globe.

"Should this 'scheme' win approval the London branch of the Watch Tower will in effect become an unopposed channel for the distribution of cash to any legal representative of the Watchtower anywhere in the world. The recent crackdown on cults in France which has led to tighter controls being called for in a growing number of European countries has resulted in this latest move by the Society.

"Opposition to the removal of charitable status of the Watch Tower Society in democratic countries such as France will in future be financed by CASH from the world headquarters of the Society which will be filtered through London." (Here in the United States we have less delicate words for this kind of thing.)

Please note: "There is an ongoing review of the situation regarding a unified approach to the charitable status of cults throughout the European Community." (More about this later.)

How do you feel about this? You may make your feelings known and state your reasons why. Says King:

"Representation [your viewpoints or challenge] regarding the 'propriety or validity' of the intended 'scheme' should be made immediately to the Charity Commission. Any doubts or opinions about the advisability of British involvement or interference in democratic procedures in other EU countries which choose to categorize Jehovah's Witnesses as non-charitable should be directed to the
    European Parliament."

"A recent article by James King in the Guardian newspaper (15, July, 2000) clearly stated that the Watch Tower Society was not charitable and that it had misled the government in Bulgaria as well as the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg."

Has this report in a major newspaper been challenged? "To date no objections or representations on behalf of the Watch Tower Society have been made to the author or Guardian Newspapers." That is, no one has challenged these printed statements.

    Details:

    SCHEME

    1. Definitions
In this scheme: "the charity" means the charity identified at the beginning of this scheme.
"the existing trusts" means the memorandum and articles of association of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain of 25th October 1999 as verified by Our Kingdom Ministry newsletters of September 1986
    and April 1987.
    2. Administration

    3. Area of Benefit

    (1) the interpretation of this scheme: or
    (2) THE PROPRIETY OR VALIDITY OF ANYTHING DONE OR INTENDED TO BE DONE UNDER IT.

If you object to this "Scheme," please write a letter and send immediately, within the specified time frame noted above:

Not a few h20 posters will be hearted to read the following:

"Mr. Ford is aware of James King's investigative journalism and has stated, 'the issue of cults and sects has indeed been raised in the European Parliament' and he states that he is 'more than happy to be of assistance."

You now have a name to write in connection with the Bulgarian disception and your feelings about enforced shunning sanctions to which dissident JWs are subjected.

    Mr. Ford's e-mail address:

    [email protected]

Also, Mr. King requests you send a copy to:
