For a while I used a picture of my car as my avatar. Then there was a thread about using elders names/pictures as your avatar. When one members posted that doing so broke and a number of forum rules and was criminal, shortly there after the thread was nuked and I changed my avatar to a picture of Ted Jaracz. I am still waiting for the police to take me away for my criminal act.

Because women don't really have any "status" in the congregations, I'm playing up my "Jedi" status on here! lol I usually like to have something funny or playful for mine. It changes from time to time, because that's a woman's perogative! lol

I used to have a hand that was handcuffed with one of the cuffs open or unlocked. I kinda thought it was like being unshackled from the tripe of the wts.
I was really loving the "Simpsonize Me" avatars several of the folks had but couldn't find a photo that would work on the website. When my wife took a pic of me holding the new anklebiter she accidentally on-purpose took a close up of my ugly mug. It worked so there I am.

Mine displays some of my favorite things, dancing, culture, freedom, passion, art, and the color red. Whats also amazing is that though it is of a flamenco dancer it was painted by a Russian painter. Painting displayed in Scottsdale AZ.
Speaking of ugly faces...
My current avatar is a pic of the greatest musician on the planet, Shane McGowan (of the Pogues.) Just 'cause I like him, and his face makes me smile. For the longest time, my avvy was a pic of Theda Bara, because I wish like hell I looked like her. Won't use my own picture, as I hate the way I look in photos.
I have placed 4 different pics of me on avatars. The present one is about 4 years old. I don't like my picture taken, and unfortunately don't have anything recent. Sometimes I feel like going the anonymous route and may yet do so in the future.....or, I may get something new and brave the camera. Can't decide.
