The most IMPORTANT preaching work ever

Is being carried out by two old women standing on the street corner looking like they are either waiting for a bus or lost.

I was at work today and drove past a couple of 'sister's' doing street work. To my trained eye, I could tell that they were indeed witnesses. Just standing there, aimlessly waiting for the hour or two they were striving to get to pass by. I thought to myself 'these poor women are taught that this is the most important preaching work ever.' How do they represent this all important work? By standing there with a glazed over look in there eyes offering the rags to every other passerby.

Just in the street work scenario, I can think of a dozen ways that will be more effective than just standing there holding out the latest rag on 'families' or whatever it really is. And on that note, if those raggedy rags were so important to peoples salvation, you would think someone could go to there official website and at least view an excerpt of the latest WT. Instead if you go to there official site you get a very stale, politically correct, hodgepodge of their propaganda.

Sorry, I just needed to rant. I hate to see people waste what could be a meaningfull and fullfilling life, slaving for that crappy organization.

It is astounding that people would rather be a slave if it meant they were provided with some sense of certainty in their lives than be free and have no certainty of anything. It doesn't matter to the slave that the certainty they cling to is bs as long as the illusion remains. People are living their lives while walking around in a sleep state.

Yes, that important life saving work. I was out in CA last week in a hispanic community by accident (the gps navigator malfunctioned), though I could've sworn it was Mexico. Anyhow, in front of a run down grocery store there were 2 old women holding up the mags, or rags if you prefer, with the same glazed expression. Guess that's the target market? There didn't appear to be any candidates for religious conversion in sight, but ya never know.

And why do they never smile or engage people in any way whatsoever?

The hot dog lady one block over with her cart gives out hugs and smiles and talks to people and is so much more enthused about her product.

These streetcorner dubs could use a basic marketing course.

Who would want to join a group who produces such sad, bland, miserable-looking people? How bad does someone's life have to be that they would think a streetcorner witness was a step up?

O, my! This is the best that the Almighty Creator of the Universe can come up with? The sad sacks of all time, standing in the most off-beat, pathetic places, doing the ultimate separating work?

    Nahhhh.....I don't THINK so!
