Just curious, did the Watchtower's lawyers get involved in the divorce on her behalf?
No, they didn't get involved - for a couple of reasons... Deep down she knows that I am a great dad, albeit and apostate dad... Also, before I was thrown out I made sure that I empowered my kids to speak up for themselves, and they were able to wreak havoc on their own, refusing to go to meetings, wanting to spend all of their time with me, resisting time spent with her JW friends. etc... They also embraced the birthday parties, holidays, and other things that they were exposed to when they were with me - much to the dismay of their mother. She knew that she was sort of losing touch with them early on because the visitation schedule (during the "temporary orders" while our attorneys were pouring through 18K bucks of our money) was that I had them every Mon night, Wed night, and every other Friday night as well as all afternoon on Saturday. They were being dragged to meetings on Tues, Thurs, and on Sundays when I didn't have them - so in their little minds all they knew was that being with mom means being still at the meetings, being with dad means fun and being a kid.
She also didn't want to mess with me because I told her that I had talked to Bill Bowen a few times, that I had the child custody packet from jwchildcustody.com, and that I would go 10 rounds at trial with her about holidays, school sports, college education, blood transfusions, the disfellowshipping practice, etc - she got a lot more reasonable when she saw tough times coming at trial.
