Sounds like you made the best out of a difficult situation. Happy that you and your children can lead "normal" lives now. No boring meetings, or mind numbing knocking on doors! Use the time to bond and discover LIFE!! Cheers.

How's Jim Leonhard working out at safety with the Bills?
Not too bad... He's no Donte Whitner - but he's pretty good - hopefully they shock the world and beat America's team on Monday night.. (Cowboys)

It's nice that you managed to minimise the creepy influence of the cult through the ex wife over the children, you did the best out of a bad situation.

Always sad to hear of another divorce but it does sound like you worked things out well with your ex
most men do not come out of the situation that well, a well done effort.
I hope that you and your ex will now focus on your children health and well being, I'm sure you will.

It's great to hear from you Billzfan. I am really happy that the divorce is final.
Congratulations.
Please don't lose the information you've gathered - you never know when someone on this board may have to borrow it.

Wow, its good to hear that you are feeling positive about the way it is working out. I remember when you first posted on the subject of the divorce. I was a bit nervous for you. Hopefully, when your ex sees you building a GOOD life with your children, she will be able to understand the reality of there being 'somewhere' to go after the Borg. She will see active, happy, NORMAL kids and realize that they haven't grown horns in your presence. Blessings to you and your family. I wish only the best for you all.

Well, the results are a little bit mixed. I gave her the house (and agreed to stay on the mortgage for 1 year) and will be paying her 395 bucks PER WEEK for child support. She waived her right to any alimony (present and future) and she did agree to pay the first 500 bucks of the kids extra-carricular activity fees...I think the only area that I am getting screwed is financially.
