  regarding the WTS's decision to create a members only WT edition. Are they expecting wonderful revelations

  of New Light or are they just quietly awaiting holding back their speculations? Has anybody heard any inhouse

  conversations?

  The one witness I talked to about it was all excited. She was saying how great it is and is looking foward to whatever info they come out with.
  
  You must understand that these people are completely enslaved to the conditioning techniques of the WT$. If they walk into the hall on that first sunday of the secret study and are told that the end is gonna come on july 1, 2008, but only if they do not tell anyone they will be all in. Then when july 1st comes and no killing of billions of people, the WT$ will say that it was because someone told and that god was testing them for their ability to heed the words of his chosen channel of communication.
  
  I know the scenario I just wrote is screwed up but we all know at least 50 dubs who would fall for it.

  The ones I've talked to think it's a wonderful provision from the slave.

  They agree that the ''householders'' are not going to understand the real ''meat'' that comes contained in the watchtower study,

  which they say is just for witnesses in the first place.

  It makes sense to them that there is a separate wacktower for the R&F and for the ''householders''.

  I just wondered if any of them have said anything like "God is getting ready to close the door of the ark" or

  "the great tribulation must be getting ready to start" or "He's really going to start separating the wheat from

  the tares now" or "the FDS is getting ready to provide us with some REAL spiritual food now."

  I just think that the new watchtower will be a relief to those who have to place the WT and Awake out in field service. They don't have to answer embarassing or uncomfortable questions at the door or with return visits concerning some WT-speak the householder finds in the middle of the WT. I think this will make the field service work less stressful and easier for the witnoids. Meanwhile, they still get to be part of the "exclusive" and "priveleged" club that understands loaded terms like "pioneer," "meat," and "faithful and discreet slave" in strange and unique ways.

  To the average brainswashed, lazy-brain witnoid, this new version of the WT will be a boon.

  I have been very curious about the new "secret" Watchtowers for a while now, but I have to say, we all know it's going to be the same old same old.
  
  The reason they are doing this is for one reason and one real reason only, to make the dwindling flock that is still left feel SPECIAL , and even MORE REMOVED FROM THE WORLD... even more segregated, eating up their "special privileges"... the more elite the Publishing Company makes them feel, the more likely they are to STAY INSIDE. This is a very, very important trick in cult psychology... keep them believing that they are a select group with all the privileges and answers.

  Sounds like paranoia to me. This is just another scheme to keep the faithful Jdubs away from open conversations with just anyone. If they have their own "secrets" then they won't be open to discuss those issues or have those issues challenged. Plus it will clearly show who is a loyal witness and who is just there and undecided.

  My other theory is that if the WTS is truly being used by the "Illuminati" (believe it or not! That's exactly what some people out there are saying!) then this might be a means of heightened intercommunication they don't want the public monitoring so easily. There is a greater degree of control this way and shaking up the ranks.

  all whom I have asked about this one have said the same thing - it is a great thing.
  now they won't have to waste time explaining things we already know.
  those that are new will catch up in time.
  
  the new watchtower will be out in another month - we are at the end of Nov mags.

  In our circle of JWs, most feel this is a time of testing and that "mother" may be apostate and that Jehovah is going to make matters right in his own time. I think this is a transitional thought for now. It is just a matter of time before most, at least those in the modern world, will realize it was never the "truth" from the beginning so it couldn't be apostate.

  It is really surprising to me how many in high positions doubt the "truth". Of course these only do so in safe circumstances. I think we are going to see a lot more MTS trained COs who are too young and too enamored with the authority of being a CO that will force feed what the service department wants. These guys may eventually find out they were misleading many, but probably years down the road.
