A Catholic once used the illustration of the Irish shamrock to show how the Trinity worked, each leaf of the clover being part of the Trinity – The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit – 3 separate entities, but being connected to make up the Trinity, or Shamrock. This illustration makes sense to me asa JW, as I could easily see Jesus being somehow CONNECT to YHWH God, but not BEING Him.

Don't overlook the little-known 'Four-leaf Clover' illustration: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit and The Flying Spaghetti Monster.

This way, all the bases are covered. Hope this doesn't confuse things.......

I love trinitarians their so easy to stump. Like when they claim to be monotheist, but wait the trinity rules that out.

I still can't believe most modern christians cling to the trinity. It is like clinging to the earth is flat.

The problem re: monotheism isn't necessarily with Trinitarianism. The root of this "problem" is really in the early devotion to Christ--to the point of deification.
Trinitarianism is an acknowledgment of and an attempt to deal with the issue.

Arianism ignores or buries the issue. For example the WTS considering Christ "a god" rules out their position as monotheistic.
