The corporate media boogeyman was just something created to distract from the fact that most media members are as left as ever.

    Chomsky is a marxist hack.

In his field of linguistics, he might be a genius, I don't know; but he chooses to bloviate about things he knows nothing about, politics, philosophy..

It's always Blame America First, blah blah blah. What a jerk.

But to try and make the claim that the media is fair and not left-leaning?

What's next? Convoluted reasoning to prove the sun doesn't shine?

I thought we all were finished with the sort of blatant sophistry this clown vomits on a regular basis.

    From 2005:

"Little Eichmanns" Tour To London Canceled
NEW YORK - July 7. As news of the London terrorist attack by an al-Qaeda group spread Thursday, three progressive intellectuals Noam Chomsky, Ward Churchill, and Lenora Fulani immediately felt in their hearts the need to reach out and explain to Londoners why the attacks, which killed over 40 people and injured 300, were their own fault and that they fully deserved what they got.

The three progressive icons gathered in New York for a press conference, where they stated, "Based on the first reactions out of London, the British people are showing a glaring lack of shame over being attacked. It is our duty, as citizens of this planet, to go to Britain and instill an enormous amount of guilt in the government and its constituents. We would like to see the British apologize to al-Qaeda for what happened."

On the way to JFK airport, however, the progressive troika started having second thoughts about the transatlantic flight. The limousine driver at JFK told our correspondent that his three passengers were getting increasingly jittery and he had to deodorize the seats afterwards, keeping the doors opened for more than 40 minutes before he could take another passenger.

An English protester, on the day preceding the attacks, explains who the "killer" really is.

At the first glimpse of the airfield, the intrepid trio told their driver to slow down, and then ordered him to stop completely. Chomsky was the first to bail out and

Chomsky is the greatest living scholar around. He is my hero. I first learned about him in my Liguistics classes, but since then I have tracked his career and philosophy. There is no one around who can compete with him. His arguments are solid, devoid of logical fallacies and factual. Nobody can question his scholarship - he's that solid. If you really listen to him without labeling him (hack, marxist, liberal, conspiracy theorist, whatever) you will find that you might actually agree with him. I think most people who are not politically polarized do agree with him. He is an absolutely NECESSARY element of free and fair journalism. He is the only outspoken critic and watch dog of current journalistic practices and ethics. He would have a lot to say about the Watchtower if he knew about them. GO CHOMSKY!!! Love ya bud! Thanks for posting!

What newspaper is that article from? Chomsky would like you to cite your sources. It sounds like Weekly World News. In any case, Capitalist propaganda. That should be easy enough to see.
