i remember hearing about this young boy who would go to the door......... cause momma forced him to......... and he always insisted upon going alone and he placed tons of magazines........... his presentation:
would you please take these so i can go home.........
He could offer free directions for a tinfoil beany cap to go along with the mags if they would just take one.
It has been my experience that people who understand A truth COMPLETELY have no difficulty expressing it in terms anyone can understand.
Perhaps hubby should spread a message he truly believes rather than one he would LIKE to believe.
Not to be mean but hubby should seek some true understanding prior to spreading propaganda that sits uneasily in the mind like a cheap T.V. dinner.
What is your ultimate understanding of GOD ,YOU and your connection?
Is god intregral to your being or is it seperate?
Is god what made you or what you are made of?
I ask only from a sense of fairness to your husband please understand I wish no hurt , I ask only that he >>>honestly <<<ask himself what he is.
Good artical.
We are here asking you and your neighbors what they think about "living only for today?"...don't wait for and answer.
That is what we Jehovah's Witness believe in....LIFE FOR TODAY....We hate thinking about the future...and living in a paradice with out all of our dead love ones and friends because they were too stupid to believe us.
And we hate thinking about the past and all the mistakes our organazition have made and it calling it new light. and that SOMEHOW God got confuessed...and changed his mine about what to believe.
Hello. My name is Mr. jgnat. How are you?

We were asking our neighbors a question. Should we live only for today?
(Await reply)
Many people feel that there is always tomorrow and are busy getting an education and preparing to support their families. But we know from the Bible that the battle of Armageddon is so close, it is like on the inside of your eyelid. That's pretty close, isn't it?
(Await reply)
At the battle of Armageddon, all those who are not Jehovah's dedicated, baptized servants, and good meeting attenders, will be cleared off the earth so that it can be a beautiful paradise. Would you like to read about how God will accomplish this in the latest edition of the WT magazine?
(Await reply)
Hi:
Good Morning. It nice to find you at home today.
I realize you may be busy so I would just like to leave you a copy of our latest WT. Once you have had a chance to read it, please take two Advil and call your medical or mental health professional.
Have a great day.

Is this thread tongue-in-cheek?
I didn't think they were doing presentations anymore. Didn't they opt for the run and gun method?
As your husband is ostensibly a Christian and is ostensibly going door to door as a consequence of his understanding of Acts 20:20, I think he should be less concerned about the current topic and go with the classic-you know, the one spoken of in the Bible. He should address repentance toward God and faith in Jesus: Act 20:20 [And] how I kept back nothing that was profitable [unto you], but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,(21)Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
The WT doesn't require that you use the service topics do they? I thought they were just suggestions.
In any case sticking with the classics works in fashion, decorating and food. Why not ministry?
The good part is, he doesn't have to even bring the WT into it at all, and can actually be doing what the JWs claim to be doing, preaching the good news as directed in the Bible by Christ. Heck, he doesn't even have to say anything about his religion or place a magazine. The apostles let their faith speak of what their 'religion' was, and they never placed magazines or other literature.
He is a lucky man to be married to you, and a courageous one to brave JWD. :) How long has he been a JW?
