I am leaving out details about me hanging out with one of Bill's children. I know FIRST-HAND what his great thoughts are in practice.

The difference between you and I. I see his thoughts as valid and do not care about the man's personal life, and have little trust of people who go around claiming to know people (BS is easy to stack online). I see what he has done for the community, what he has made efforts to help and have read his thoughts and found him to be a man who would like to make the world listen to some thoughts and advice that I think is valid. Sometimes, the entire world (Especially one all screwed up with political correctness), needs a good slap to reality. No one says you have to accept it, but in 20 years, would the world be better of having listened or ignored this man? Personally, I hope more in the African American community and all minorities, start teaching such wholesome valid points about the future and I do not care what their children think.

I am 36 years old, my parents taught me values and principles that make we what I am and I dislike them on some days. Yet they did the best they could in this world and still stick to what they believe in to the best of their ability. All you can ask of anyone, and not be judgemental of imperfection and weakness (... that is what makes us better then the active Witness).

In some areas when residential land line telephone service is terminated due to nonpayment, the phone is left active, but only for outgoing calls to 911/emergency services.

This is true in a lot of states. I have a very good friend who works for 911 who tells me he gets calls all the time from people asking him to place a call for them, as they got their phone turned off. He has to send the police out to give them citations if they do not stop. (Another example of people not realizing the privilege and even trying to abuse ... people who pay their phone bills are paying the tax for 911 I should add).

She was getting too many collect calls from a jailbird boyfriend

Correctional billing can EASIILY EASILY put a block on this and you can also say "I do not accept."A lot of the prison calls give an automated way to block as well. Bet she did not even try, just ran her bill up and could not afford it and let the phone disconnect for 911 only. Sorry, seen this to many times.

Why should I or any other taxpayers continue to support her filthy habits and her crotchfruit? Isn't well past time that she should be forced into a little surgery to keep the problem from getting worse?

They get a support called "Lifeline" and everyone with a phone pays for this to be around in all those nasty surcharges on the bill.

Bill cosby is a HYPOCRITE. HE talks about black problems to ENRICH HIMSELF. just like Al sharpton and THE SO CALLED REV. JESSE JACKSON. I lived in a mostly black area all my life ( working class). I never heard hard working blacks, ever say Bill Cosby, Al Sharpton Jesse Jackson , are doing them any good. just the other way around they complain that these so called BLACK LEADERS, make good hard working blacks look stupid. the only people that follow these asshole leaders, are welfare, drug addicts, and the mentally insane . We can all thank that RACIST BASTARD BILL COSBY for taking the 'LITTLE RASCALS"( OUR GANG ) OFF TELEVISION. I listen to lots of black radio. (grew up with the music and love it). you want to here racist baiting just listen to your local black (soul) radio stations. the d.j's cry about whites every other minute. and who is that jerk MICHAEL BASDEN on black stations all across america. great music, but a RACIST PIECE OF SHIT. I'll stop here but a lot of black leaders teach hate, TO ENRICH THEMSELVES. JOHN

Of course Bill Cosby is right! Notice that not one white man could say that wihtout losing his job. Black leaders such as Rev. Jesee Jackson, and the useless Al Sharpton rather blame their behavior on slavery history. They simply have no leader with common sense! (not that Bush has any). These leaders have no balls to promote their constituency to take responsibility for their attitude, crime rate and addictions. Then you have that Barack Obama cultic and separatist presidential candidate. As if.....

The black leaders have forgotten Martin Luther King, the real deal; Most of today's youth's idols are junkie and violent rappers. The erosion in black political gains can be dumped squarely on black voter apathy and self-inflicted social alienation in the name of coolness and starting each sentence with Yo!

I agree too. I also think my point is very valid. In that I gave an example of something that was intended to be a help for low income families, that has in turn become an example of abuse and by a certian part of our population in that area that is noticable. Sorry, I wish I could agree with you and think I was way off, but I would then go to work tomorrow and feel like a hypocrit for not saying what really is happening. These things; programs, assistents, etc. Were not put in place to be abused!!!!!!! Abuse should be treated as illegal and not some god given right to cheat out people. I have not even begun to explain what I know about, what is happening in New Orleans.

You connect Cosby and his statement with your job as a telemarketer (or something similar) and black people. My point is, he is BLACK, he speaks from his personal experience. He is involved with SOLVING the problem, NOT JUST MAKING WORTHLESS COMMENTS.

I draw an analogy of how I could generalize and stereotype in the same fashion with young white females (if you read the post). I do not. It would be ignorant of me to do that.

The problem that you speak of is NOT limited to black people. Have you ever visited the Appalacian Mountains? Are you familar with the abuse that occurs there? I have trained many individuals from that part of the country, as well as the South. I could easily stereotype and generalize as well. This form of abuse may be closer linked to socio-economic factors vs. race. I do NOT see race as a factor. I do not see your connection. Your connection makes me think you may have personal issues that need resolving. This of course is JUST my opinion. No offense is intended.

As previously mentioned, as a staunch conservative, I think he his right.

Barack Obama, who is still in his first Senate term, is largely the invention of the Democratic Party. They got tired of Jesse Jackson and his ilk getting too much media attention and needed an African American who would better toe the party line.

I'll likely vote for Dennis Kucinich, even though he can't win. Every vote sends a message, and my message is that the major parties can go f*ck themselves.

After marriage, in an effort to give back, I keep foster children in the Antelope Valley (in California). We were given 2 white children. The mother was our age, early 20's at the time with 8 children. Her child (girl) was allegedly molested by her crystal-meth using/selling boyfriend. At our group meetings, many care-givers had similar experiences. I did NOT form the opinion that MOST young white girls were a low-life like this pathetic mother I dealt with. Again, MOST care-givers had the same experience, but no stereo-type was formed.

By the way, this young white lady (and I use that term loosely) and a few of my white tenents in Austin, Texas did NOT pay their phone bills as well. I have documented proof of this. It was very difficult to contact them because their phones were constantly OFF. Numbers always changing. Socio-economic, not race.

Yet, I do NOT generalize all caucasians and young white females.

I, like you am NOT a racist.

I agree too. I also think my point is very valid.

Again, you connect Bill and blacks not paying phone bills, as if no one of another race does this. A weak and shallow point in my opinion.

In that I gave an example of something that was intended to be a help for low income families, that has in turn become an example of abuse and by a certian part of our population in that area that is noticable.

Low income or BLACK? I thought you initially said black. I may be wrong. (if I am not, this is obviously sarcasm). As an out-of-state property owner, I can draw the same conclusions regarding the whites in Austin, Texas. Round Rock and Pflugerville to be exact. As mentioned, generalizing and stereotyping on my part would be ignorant.

Sorry, I wish I could agree with you and think I was way off, but I would then go to work tomorrow and feel like a hypocrit for not saying what really is happening. Isn't crossing the border from Mexico illegal as well? Is it abused? ........and NO, that does NOT make it right. This issue affects YOU directly, yet NO commentary.

I think you should examine the crime of low income Blacks, Whites and Mexicans. There may be a few similarties in govermental abuse.

I do hope you have a great day at work tomorrow. I look forward to sharing your commentary with some of my co-workers. It puts an exclamation point to an earlier argument.

Again, you connect Cosby and black people not paying their bills. You are GENERALIZING. Of the 40 million blacks in America, how many do NOT pay their phone bill? My point is, this is probably an issue of being low income and NOT race.

This type of generalizing solidifies my point. Thank you.

Just curious, how many black youth do you personally know that this would apply to? I personally mentor in the inner-city. This is not the case in my opinion. Most of the black VOTE that I know.

So again, what do you validate each point of your argument with? Facts or Channel 4 news?

Go walk at night at any Detroit 'park'. If you survive the stroll I'll give you examples. By large, the black cominity in America has a severe attitude problem. Voting for Obama will not save your butt when getting mugged.

I would never vote for Obama, I am a Republican. 3rd generation. The cult leader is looking great. (Mitt Romney). I have traveled a great deal. I have visited many inner-city neighborhoods. I grew up in South LA. I have been to many black neighborhoods without fear. It is not a racial issue, but a class issue. One of money.

I am not seeing your connection to the topic and your argument. Were you attempting to follow the topic?

Please validate your point, if there is one.
