WORLD TRAVELLER- I too have had short lapses in breathing for 10 seconds at times due to a tight throat and snoring. My doctor recommended nasal strips which I use and I also use a prescription sinus spray which although expensive really opens up my breathing. My dad had sleep apnea, so you might want to get that tested out World Traveller to make sure you breathe good at night. I'm glad I did, because it helped me. Hope you are doing better !

CASPER- Wow! I bet that was challenging for you ( if not a bit creepy ) to dream of your deceased husbands. I had to laugh when you said you dreamed of the witness husband always in a suit. Go figure, huh? Anyway, you are probably right on in saying your assessment of your dreams is it is your minds way of coping with your emotions over time.

JAGUAR BASS- You said you dreamed of snakes ? Have you ever replied to Snakes in the Towers threads ? Just joking ! That would be interesting what you did though, keeping a diary of dreams to see if any trends started. You dreamed of surreal paintings like Dali ? Wow! Must have been a trip !

CoCo- Glad to hear you had a nice trip and could see your friends ! I don't know what causes it to appear widescreen format on your computer. It is appearing as a normal screen on my computer. I don't know what causes that, do you ? Hope you are well. Peace out., Mr. Flipper

I don't talk in my sleep but Mr Brinjen has a habit of. He woke me up one night recently informing me the ceiling was caving in. He'd just been dreaming he was with his co-worker stacking furniture inside our roof...

    Hey, Mr. Flipper:

My dreams frequently involve an escape through a series of neighborhood homes' backdoors into backyards, jumping over obstacles, climbing fences and, when really desperate, flying away from my pursuers.

When you commented on my overseas trip with friends to an international convention, did you think it was for real?!?!?!? LOL!

I've apparently talked in my sleep but I can't remember it. I once scared my brother when we were sharing a house a couple of years back by screaming in my sleep but I couldn't remember what I'd been dreaming about so I was never sure if it was his dream or I actually did scream. It's a possibility as it was a few weeks after our neighbour broke in drunk one night and I woke up to find him leaning over me in bed.

My dreams tend can be intense but I do find it a bit funny that even in my dreams when I am not myself in that dream my daughter is still there with me and is always the daughter of the person I am in that dream. My fiance does put in occassional appearences when I am myself in a dream but my little girl is always there no matter who I am. I suppose it's just a normal parent thing. As she is so young and needs me my dream self can't seem to wander off by itself without having her there.

I suppose the weirdest thing that happens in my dreams is that if I am awoken when I am dreaming some of images stay with me. Once I woke in bed with a wall on both sides of me. It was like I was sleeping in a room that was only a metre wide. I had to put my hand out and touch the wall that I knew wasn't there before it would disappear. The images only seem to stay around for a few minutes. Apparently I've done it since I was a child. When I stayed with my sister once and crashed on her couch she came in with a coffee for me and woke me up. I sat up and was drinking the coffee telling her about the child's tricycle that I could see.
