I am celebrating it primarily to give Jehovah his slap in the face. That means lots of good music and pretty Christmas decorations.

Why do you think Hannukah is the "Festival of Lights"? Light festivals are very common worldwide around the solstice. The date of Hannukah moreover exists because that was the date Antiochus IV Epiphanes chose to place the "abomination of desolation" in the Temple and sacrified pigs on it, and the Jews stuck with that date because Hannukah celebrates the cleansing of the Temple on that same date. Yet the date itself has a "pagan origin". But that did not stop Jesus from going to the Temple on Hannukah in observance (as John presents things).
