With all due respect:
I have been eating way too much rich food and drinking too much good grape. I am weighing too much - let's face, I've gained about 60 pounds. Had I exercised every time instead of reaching for another fudge bar, I would probably be at least 40 pounds lighter. I am hereby announcing that forthwith I shall be diligent in my diet and not eat or drink crap. Starting tomorrow. I swear. As God is my witness.
Good bye threads are so predictable. Just do it, fer Christsake! The announcements simply serve to steal all the thunder from your intentions. Your intentions are valid - 'I have to quit wasting time here and get on with my life.'
Me being attacked after I post this is also predictable, so don't bother. See you in a few weeks or a few days.
BTW, journey-on, I have always enjoyed and respected your posts. If this is what you want - just do it! If you come back - as thousands have - no shame.

Selfishly, I am sorry to see you go...
Yet I understand and agree with needing to progress onward.
I wish you health and happiness.
I do hope you will pop in again, actually, I hope you will wean yourself and not go completely cold turkey on us.
But if you must...
you will be missed.

I spend too much time thinking about JW and JWD related subjects now and I want to return to a more balanced mental place.
That's where I stood this past May. I didn't leave a goodbye note, but maybe I should have. At any rate, you have to take care of yourself and too much thinking about jehovah, his witnesses, or his wonderful prophecies can drive ya crazy. Take care.
